What I understand is pipe tobacco is processed differently and most have toppings and additives that add flavor and moisture. Something you don't want to take directly into the lungs. I read somewhere ... |

You don't want to use aromatic pipe tobacco - the moist kind- you don't want to inhale it either.
Although I've injected pipe tobacco after letting it air out. Prince Albert, etc.
