I tried the "springless", works great! It took a couple of cigs to get used to but I don't see going back. I wonder if the spring was contributing to the bushing wear on the crank handle? I just replaced the bushing, we'll see. I have been concious of not putting downward pressure on the handle.

Thanks for the tips!

I replaced my Premier with a Top-O-Matic. I am much happier with the Top. After months of use, still work great, no cleaning, no maintenance, and no tweaks needed.

I also use ElRay tubes and McClintock light tobbaco as my every day smoke. Less than $1 a pack, and much better than the Camel lights I used to smoke.

Gathered all my C-notes today and sent in for two free cartons of Camel Turkish Gold. Don't know if I will even be able to smoke them, I know I can't stand Camel lights anymore, after getting used to better/fresher tobbaco.

Hi,

I'm new to the Supermatic. I've been stuffing for just about a week now. Now that I've worked out the bugs, all on my part not the machines, I'm very happy with Ole Blue. I think I'll buy a Topomatic too, Ole Brown, when my Supermatic seems ready for service to hold me over while getting parts. I've read a lot about the Top recently on the various forums and I really want to know how they stake up next to each other.
