Wish I could find those cases near me for $2.25. Usually they have the cheaper plastic cases for $3. I see p&c has just raised their McClintok 13 oz by a buck, I had been getting it for $13 a can. Now $13.99 per can.
In Dec when I checked prices I found p&c to be best for me. Nearby, so I got my order the next day. Thanks for the lil' brown link, might use them. Cheers |

Gosh we have been busy so I have not had much time to be online ( remodeling the house) and we are doing the work ourselves ( phew! ) anyway, I did try the strawberry , vanilla, peach and cherry tobacco's. Nice ! My local shop is carrying them now too ! ( the small packages) but even at $2.00 I save $$ over the shipping cost. I just like to have one every now and then. I tried the premier menthol tubes today and HOLY COW, with my menthol tobacco plus the menthol tubes it's a bit too much
By the way I also now love the excel machine so much I figure I will sell off my premier supermatic. Can I do a for sale post here, I mean is it allowed ? If not I can put it on ebay I don't need that much for it.
Hope everyone is having a great week !

Deb,
I tried the same pair for my brother (smokes Kools) And as you say it was toooooo much menthol.
To save the tubes he cut the filters in half and removed the pellets ---
(made the tubes usable)
Has anyone came up with a mix for Kools? Brother says that "It 's not so much menthol as it is the stout" Gambler,Top,and bugler menthol haven't done the job for him.

Hi everyone.
I don't know if this kind of post is allowed, if it is not I do appologize in advance. I guess the moderator can remove it if need be.
Anyway for health reasons my mom just quit smoking and sent me her Supermatic, I honestly don't need it as I have one plus an Excel so I put it on ebay with some extra goodies. I started it at 9.99.
Anyone looking for one of these I figure this was a nice starting price as I am not looking to make any money on it. ( Maybe I will buy her a bunch of candy )
Have a wonderful day

I just got fed up with NJ cost of butts and for a while there I was getting my cigarettes from over sea. But that too was becoming a pain. So about a month ago I started my reseach on MYO and RYO and took the plunge. BOY AM I GLAD I DID! There are so many choices, and the quality of the tobacco's are fantastic. I was smoking up to 2 packs a day and I find that my consumption has gone down. Now it's more of a treat or and event to have such a quality smoke. It is positivly YUMMY! One of the best site's I found for information is http://www.ryomagazine.com/
They have reviews as well as a video section so you can see how things are done. I have used four different online stores to purchase supplies and found that it takes only 3-5 days to get what you order. My three favorite tobacco's so far are D&R's Windsail Platnium, D&R's Rambak and Smokers outlet house blend. I have tried the Premire tubs (ok), Windsail (suck), Zen (Good) and the Vera Cruz (my favorite). So for all of you that have not tried this option to Make Your Own, for a modest amout of money you to can find out what you have been missing. Most online stores offer starter kits that reduce the entry cost. Cost is not the only factor to take the plunge, you will find that smoking such a quality cigarette is worth it alone. Like I said before YUMMY! |
