did anyone order from; www.discount-cigarettes-store.com ?,

I think they're the same as www.ezsmoke.net only cheaper,

now that yesmoke is history I might take the empty red carton that they used to send the cigs, and frame it for hanging on the wall, I like the writing it had;"YESMOKE FOR FREEDOM & CHOICE", there's no way the U.S. Gov. was gonna let that happen, Mad
as for 'rolling my own' I won't at this time,... what? should I quit my job and sit at home rolling cigs all day?! Rolling Eyes
to every measure there's a countermeasure, others will take yesmoke's place,
ordering from the indian reservations like www.a1cybercigs.com costs a bit more but you get them faster here in the US, but what if who knows when, the feds raid their customer database? and in NYC with the highest tax?! 8O 8O
I wonder what they think in other countries about a carton of Winstons costing $70 US dollars Evil or Very Mad

smoking guest-I'm a make your own newbie-and in my second "run" of making cigs I knocked my time down significantly. I can make 6 packs, in 1.5 hours, while watching TV. Enough cigs for me to smoke for a week. At 1/4 of the cost. I'm sure I'll get faster at it as I get the hang of it Fortunately-I can also make runs to the state line, and get name brands for 24-26 bucks a carton to keep handy in case I have a week I don't have time to make my own. But it really doesn't take all that long to make them, and much to my suprise-the tobacco I chose from ciagrettetobacco.com makes an excellent tasting cigarette. IMO it's well worth the time to sit down once a week and make my own smokes, rather than pay 52.00 a carton for them OTC.

thanks Pat, glad it works out for you, I might consider RYO if I can't find a reliable source like yesmoke,
but what about the cigs you roll getting stale, how long is the "shelf life" after making them?

Hi smoking guest,
Well-The cigs I made stayed fresh. They last me a week, and I store them in empty box packs of OTC cigarettes. They taste fine. As a matter of fact-I had to smoke a pack from my "state line" run supplies because I ran out of MYO smokes, and couldnt' get to making another batch until last night. After smoking the homemade ones exclusively-The Marlboro Lights seemed to have a taste that just doesn't compare.

I squeeze the air out of the bag of tobacco I use, and store that in a tupperware in my pantry-which is quite cool because there is no heat in there. That seems to keep the tobacco fresh enough as well.

A coworker of mine makes a run to the state line every 6-8 weeks, and she stores the OTC cigs in her fridge. I haven't tried that yet with my MYO packs-but so far I haven't found that necessary.

Give it a try! I was pleasantly suprised how good the MYO smokes were, and I like the fact I can experiment with different tobaccos and tubes. Plus it is SWEET that the MYO cigs cost me 1/4 of the cost of a pack of cigs purchased in my state. I find making them kind of fun, and actually look forward to cranking out some cigs once a week! Very Happy

thanks Pat, I'll consider making my own as a last resort, it is time consuming after all, I'm still looking for a good site to get my Winstons, I'll post if I find one,

it's a shame that the US gov has no common sense, THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL! anyone's going to pay $70 for a carton unless their weekly wage is like $1500, it's like they WANT a crime wave, I recently read that there was a gas station robbed of like 4000 packs of cigs, and it's probably just the beginning! truckers hauling Phillip Morris cigs must be puking in fear Very Happy

I had slipped in between this websites' up and down period and had ordered smokes from discount cigarettes before x-mas, and they were delivered last Friday. When I went to the site last nite, the site wasn't open for ordering. I'd ordered from them before but preferred YS for quicker delivery, but delivery was very fast this time from them. I haven't had any problems with them before, so guess it is a matter of timing to be able to get an order in. Anyone tried YS new smokes yet? I'd like to try em out. Hope they get the site operational for USA again soon.

It has already begun, and it's not the US govt. It's the state and local govts, especially the state of NJ and the city of New York. I see people on the streets of NJ cities selling cigs for 2 for $5, or 3 for $10. These are stamped cigarettes. I imagine the same thing is going on in New York City, but I think it might be less in NY, becasue they see selling cigs the same as drugs. I just look at these things, and I'm so happy and greatful that I don't have to be a part of it. I tell those cig dealers that Roll my own is my savior. I have no need to support crime.

just read about this from the NY Post courtesy of tobacco.org

CARD FIRMS SMOKED ON 'NET SALES
Source: New York Post, 2005-01-05
Author: KENNETH LOVETT

Intro:
State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer has turned his attention to Internet cigarette sales by warning credit-card companies to block orders from tax-free online tobacco companies, The Post has learned.

At least two web-based companies, Cigs4free.com and 00Taxfree.com/Indiansmokeshops.com, have told customers that they are presently not shipping to New York.

Cigs4free directly blames Spitzer.

"Our site is temporarily down due to credit-card processor issues," the company says in a recent message posted on its Web site.

Here's the update on that. Nice try NYS attorney general, but you should know by now the indian reservations are not your state. That's not your land, it's their land. Only the federal govt can pull a stunt like that, and the republicans won't. Ha ha ha...
