Once again, I'm very happy to see that Roll your own is going mainstream. When I went to the tobacco shop today, the owner said that he ran out of RYO stuff, but he's getting more, stocking more brands, etc. It's beautiful.

Anyway, I recomend the premier supermatic injector, premier tubes, midnight special, bugler or gambler tobacco. Midnight special is only about $8 a carton. Keep rolling um guys. If you don't have a store in your area cigarettetobacco.com is a great starter source. If you just want to see what it's like CVS, stocks bugler, the hand machines and tubes. You'll spend a little more there though.

Hi all. Been reading this thread from the beginning.
Lost 6 cartons in the seizure and then (like an idiot) ordered 4 from a site before I checked it out thoroughly........Tobacco Ted?...........got 1 carton in 6 days....and then nothing. Was surpeised that it came in a similar package as Yesmoke (full disclosure, and all that.....but from Germany)......Is anyone familiar with Tobacco Ted?......thanks

I've been ordering from yesmoke for over 2 years and never a problem until now-- I found this forum searching for news of possible seizures, which was my gut feeling after more than 3 weeks had gone by -when before it never took more than 2 weeks, 1 week in most cases. I "lost" 2 cartons I ordered Nov. 8 with priority mail.

Can we all now expect a letter from the IRS/US Customs/State Revenue Departments in the near future? What shall one do if one is received? Will they be able to track orders from over 2 years ago? Anyone well versed with tax law here?

Why would you order again if you never received your current order?
I ordered from Sendcigarettes.com and have not received 2 cartons sent Nov.26 and Dec.2 and got this email just today.
Are all these online outfits run by Otamedia?

I find it hard to believe online smokes have been all over the web for years and the legality is being questioned now.

They say they are still taking orders but I think this is a heads up for me, time to either roll your own or quit.

Why does NY think they have any right to taxes on these cigs that are headed elsewhere-Screw NY and their greedy Politicians and Lawyers.

I can't blame Yesmoke for this mess, although their emails to me are becoming more and more oblique. They are deluged and they completely lost their biz model. They would have been very happy with the way they were operating before. The guv in need of more blood put on the big squeeze.

Just called my CC company and did a chargeback for my 2 cartons which have been at JFK for a month now. No problem.

The future? Who knows. Maybe this will end or it will continue. Personally, it is just too much of a pain to bother ordering online and hoping they will arrive. Disrupts my suppy chain.

SendCigarettes.com Is Not called cheapdiscountcigarettes.com. They are 2 different sites.
