The libs are pooping bricks now that the cigar bar exemption is about to go into affect.
Here is the link, they act like a bunch of spoiled liberal bedwetters, which come to think of it they are!.

The sad thing is according to the CigarBoy Legal Counsel right before the vote, a senator insisted that cigarettes be banned from being smoked in cigar bars. So that was added and it pased by one vote.
So you could get cited by smoking a cigarette in a cigar bar, what a bunch of crap. Now the catch is someone would have to turn you in and I don't see that happening.
But let me assure when I get to Nebraska I will work to get this smoking ban over-turned. I will start by taking out senators in marginal districts. Just turn over six senators and no more smoking ban. |

How about a cigarette that looks like a Cigar [brown paper]?
Or, how about those mini-cigars that people switched over to for cost savings - are those still available? And would they be classified as Cigars - or are they regulating Cigars by weight? |

I think small cigars are going away. The Obama tax on cigars is 66 cents a stick, so it kills the small hand-rolled cigars.
If you are smoking anything with a brown wrapper nobody will say anything. Come on in and have a ball, everybody is welcome. |

I'm not surprised the Nebraska antis are crying a crocodile tear over this, as they do the same **** in all states towards business owners that want to operate a smoker-friendly establishment. Good luck with your efforts in knocking off pro-ban Nebraska state senators, I'm optimistic weakening of state smoking bans can successfully occur, but the will has to be there among enough senators, and you always have to be on the watchout for anti lobbyists in state legislatures, and/or anti politicians, that come out of nowhere and try to find a way to hold up a bill's vote. Great example of this is the bill in the 2009 Nevada legislative session that would've eased Nevada's smoking ban that sadly died, despite passing the Nevada Senate, and was held up by antis in the Nevada Legislature long enough that the bill died. In the end, the only thing backers of easing the ban got was a late amendment into another bill that eased the ban for tobacco trade conventions, but sadly the 'no food' rule still stands for bars choosing to allow smoking. |
