Has anyone here found the right blend of tobacco to mimic a non-menthol Pall Mall cig? I've been hitting a brick wall over the last couple months with my own testing & search engines aren't turning up [doodee]

Thanks

irishguy,
Thanks for the links! Very helpful. And thanks to this site-I am now making my own smokes, for around $12.00 a carton. I honestly never heard of the MYO option until I found this site via the "yesmoke" thread. Sure beats paying 52.00 a carton retail in my state, and is much more convenient than an hours drive to the state line (where I can get name brand cartons at 24.00 to 26.00 a pop).

My state can stick their oppressive "tax stamps" where the sun don't shine!

Pall Mall, that's been a while. I would use a 6oz bag of midnight special, mix a .65 oz bag of bali shag, and a .65 oz bag of bugler, keep about 75% midnight special as your base. Increase the bali shag for that long lasting effect, and increase the bugler for the turkish deep drag effect. When you blend, make sure to mix all the way through. Bali Shag's meant for hand roling, but a little in a cig gives it a sharper flavor and burns slower.

Check out the retailers link at this site: http://syo.dalrun.com/

Plenty of great choices out there. I am currently smoking a stick of Amsterdam shag in a nice brown Vera Cruz tube. This stuff is tasty, kinda strong. I think it would be wonderful blended with some of the plainer inexpensive tobaccos like H & R.

The tubes are a filter and cylinder of paper attached. It is a cig without tobacco. All you need is tubes, tobacco, and an injector.
