Well i called it a while back. On todays news, my mother noticed 2 seperate states are looking to put "fatty taxes" on soda, beer and fast foods... in their attempt to force us to slim down.

If these anti-smoking politicians are so concerned about the health of the general population, they should focus their time on corporate pollution. Not tobacco smoke, soft drinks and fatening foods.

Can I get an Amen on this one?

I trust neither of you are so naive as to believe that these taxes are being proposed because politicians are so concerned about the health and welfare of their constituents.

Of course its not about public health, we've got to pay for the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 and other things like this new war bill, 2346 I think. They have you believe that they care about your health by adding swine flu pandemic prep into this $100,000,000,000 war bill.
