Ok, this loophole is being plugged. NY State is also working on plunging our other duty free channel, and high tax states are cracking down on low tax internet sales. This opens windows all over the place that will soon become doors. Window 1) This creates an environment where RYOT can flurish. Window 2) This takes beggers off the street, and encourages stealing. By stealing 1 carton of cigs a day, they get $40 or $50 on the streets of NJ or NY. Window 3) It's now profitable to traffic cigs in vans from South america through mexico. Window 4) North Carilina and Richmond trips will increase. Window 5) Pot, it's easier to grow your own pot than tobacco. This doesn't have to be cured, this will increase in NJ and New York.
There's 5 windows that are gonna be opened wider and wider as more people penetrate them. I choose window one. |

Tom,
As stated in the Roll your Own Thread, That's exactly what I have decided to do (stuff my own cigs.)! I'll never pay the per carton or per pack tax again unless I'm stuck somewhere and run out of my own!
I feel the gov't and state of NJ (where I live) are greatly taken advantage of smokers! I used Yesmoke for a couple of years to get around the tax but knew it would end some day!
That day has finally come and to be honest, if Yesmoke was allowed to start shipping again tomorrow I would not be ordering from them. |

All shipments of 2 carton packages have stopped for several weeks here in San Jose per my good friend who is a postman. He does't know why as there is no word within the Post Office. My 8 cartons on order from Nosmokes are history! I billed back all charges. (Yeah, Why is their banner still on this site?)
How about other carriers? Is it safe to order in US? Anyone have any experience with smokin4less? They have marlboro's for 22.35. |

I just got an email from Yesmoke and they informed me that because of the JFK incident, the cigarette orders are delayed. Below is a copy of the email I received from Yesmoke:
"Dear Customer,
as you may be aware, within the last few weeks, we have
experienced delays with our delivieries due to the inspection that took
place last month at JFK and the investigation that ensued which, besides
taking us by surprise--as Shipping cigarettes, infact, is legal in the USA--
created a serious delivery problem for the majority of our US clients.
Althought the inspection has been widely reported as it being done on the
cigarettes coming from abroad, Swiss Post has recently informed us
otherwise, it is indeed standard practice of itnernational customs to
routinely check--and therefore hold--all incoming mail.
We are very sorry about this problem but you should know that we
are now in the process of resuming regular deliveries.We understand and we
do apologise for the nuisance of waiting for your orders this long. As we
mentioned, this situation was absolutely
unforeseeable: Swiss Post has formally questioned the need for such
inspection to take place and we are awaiting answers from USPS on the
subject.
Meanwhile, we wish to reassure you that since the satisfaction of our
clients is our priority, should you fail to receive your order within
the next ten days, we will stand by our satisfaction guarantee and honor our
replacement or refund procedure.
Please note that this unfotunate incident has taken place on the eve of the
launch of the new Yesmoke brand, which is set, alongside our entirely
redesigned website for Tuesday December 6th. Our brand is the first one in
the world whose recipe has been entirely disclosed to the authorites, and
the only one in the world to have the date of production stamped on the
packet. Please do visit us again and you'll also have a chanche to view our

| Smokin4less is safe, but the single most reliable discrete indian site is Rons smoke shop. NY's fighting these guys though. Both of these sites won't be around much longer. |

Yesmoke has thier new website up and are now selling thier own brand. You can also still order all of the usual brands that they carried before. They have also addressed the shipping problems and the JFK incident on the website. Yesmoke Lives!!!!!!!

this is my YS referral site, I have turned OFF all ppc and other promotion because I don't want to bring people in if YS is gonna rip them off. YS is going to have to reprove themselves over a period of several months before I will feel comfortable building my referral base again.
WHAT EVIDENCE (OTHER THAN YS'S WORD OF....HONOR?) DO YOU HAVE THAT ALL THOSE CARTONS ARE EVER GOING TO GET DELIVERED OR THAT THEY WILL EVER BE ABLE TO SHIP TO THE US IN A DEPENDABLE FASHION AGAIN?
