You have my permission to mention on that thread that you spoke to me and I said that only ONE person in over a decade ever asked me about combining forums and I was all for it and asked him how to make the RSS feed box work and he didn't know either and never got back to me. I was very disappointed. I also have never made a dime on the Club and we get so much traffic that it hasn't been an issue in a very long time.
Samantha is right, I was the only person in a decade to ask about combining the forums, and she shot down my idea to combine the forums and only wanted to put an RSS feed up. She did not want to combine the forums. And she got upset that I was promoting a link to support fundraising at FORCES, and she said, and here I quote her in the email dated April 3, 2007:
"But on the other hand I was promoting Forces like you are, and ignoring my own donations, and now I'm about one computer crash away from the Club being off line. We really need to get some money in for equipment and sending our forum folks to your forum to be asked for money for Forces defeats the purpose of trying to stay online.Gian knows this, that we have to stop promoting his fund raising."

She got upset that I had a link up to raise donations for FORCES. It was all ALWAYS ABOUT THE MONEY! Smoker's Club asks for donations and free handouts, AND MAKES A MINT off of traffic advertising. And since I was trying to support FORCES at the time THEY REFUSED TO SEND TRAFFIC TO SMOKINGLOBBY.
KNOW YOUR FACTS ABOUT WHO YOU ARE SUPPORTING. Don't blindly trust anyone. |

I have NO idea what is really going on, but I can tell you that from MY seat in bleachers...............this looks like some kind of pissing contest.
I can't believe what I've read here the past two days. And I thought Ewok was childish? |

Yeah? You try working for 10 years just to have your ideas stolen and no credit given. I do this for NO MONEY and now people are saying "I'm the rich spoiled kid" that wants to throw money at everything. LOFL!
You people came here for free and have been using this site for years and this is the backstabbing and insults and thanks I get. F uck you all. |

I'm sure Samantha will see your post anyway, and whetha she sends me an email or not, I don't give a flying F. I know I ain't gonna email her and tell her that "Brian replied."
I've been talking to Samantha for the past 5 years, as well as some of her own friends. I neva met her. But if I ever do meet her, I'd be flattered to talk and smoke with her. Cause she has always been a woman with class.
This site right here is the same one where I was recently criticized for the way I write. It ain't my fault there are some lurkers on this site who hate reading words coming out of the mouth of a black smoker. I know if I talked about smoking issues in this same way to a brotha or sista, that person wouldn't call my words offensive and rude then.
At least I haven't spilled out my true colors on here as one person recently did. And at least I'm honest when I DO express my thoughts. Seems like there are some people in the smokers rights community who can actually understand my posts.
Yeah I know who I'm dealing with in Samantha. A woman who smokes, and she has class. |

Yeah, a woman who sold out the smoker's rights movement because it didn't make her enough money. Real classy.
And if someone on this board made fun of the way you write, it wasn't me, but I can understand why they did it. It's because you don't spell properly. It's spelled "other" not "otha". That's not a black or a white thing, it's called English and it unites us all with a common method of communication. It's not "cool" or "black" to misspell words. It's just plain ignorant. |

Well then I suggest you try talking to EVERY black person who leaves a post online anywhere. I sure would love to see their reaction to hearing someone tell them how they should write.
I have a strong good idea on what would happen if you told them in their faces. You're making it sound like I'm the only one on the net who writes like this informally, but I ain't.
Based on the way you act in this thread, you're going against your own advice. You may not be writing the way several black people online write. But your credibility is going down the drain fast.
The way anyone writes means nothang to me. It's what they express within those words that defines them as a person. And within your own words, I see a man talking like a boy instead of his own age. |

I don't know any educated person anywhere, regardless of race, creed or color, that goes out of their way to try and misspell words. I've neva seen that ignorant shi t anywhere online.
I suggest you read more about the history of this site, and what people did who came before you in the Smoker's Rights movement to make it what it is today. If you want respect, show more respect to the people that have paved the way for you to still smoke where you can.
Personally, I don't give a f uck what you think of me. I'm out of here next week. You people have killed the last surviving original forum for Smoker's Rights. You only have yourselves to blame for your behavior and your actions. |

Let's put it this way. The way someone writes is similar to how a woman looks. A woman can look sexy as he!!, But if I learn her true colors and I don't like her crazy attitude, I could care less if she won 10 pageants with her beautiful looks. It's the inside of her that counts to me.
Same thang with women who look ugly. Just cause a woman looks ugly (and I don't mean dirty-looking, some think big women are ugly) doesn't mean she's not a nice person in general.
Likewise, it's not how a person writes that defines him/her as a person. It's what he/she says in that writing that defines her. You're a good writer yourself. But good writing isn't gonna save your crediblity, based on the different thangs you said in this thread alone.
Do you got proof that Samantha "destroyed the smokers rights movement?" Is there somethang she did that forced people to lose an nterest in smokers rights?
I can see why people talk behind your back. Cause you can't handle the truth. You make it sound like you were the first-ever person who started the idea of smokers rights sites period, and you deserve to get paid for starting the "smokers rights movement." Neva mind the fact you keep yelling like a lil boy sometimes in this thread....and you think my writing is a turn-off?
I hope this site gets bought ASAP. And it'll be interesting to see how it goes when it IS bought. If it's still gonna be a smokers rights site under a new owner, I hope that owner is a lot more mature.
A smokers rights site doesn't deserve an owner who's gonna badmouth his fellow smoking activists (like Samantha). That anger you have needs to be put to somethang that's for betta use. |

Thank you for showing up at the IL Senate hearing back in October 2006 to express your take on the idea of Illinois banning smoking STATE-wide. I was there. I guess you were invisible. LOL
The only thang you did at all for me that comes close to helping me out is having a site that basically helped me learn that smoking is my right as an American.
Outside of that, I can think of betta people I met over the years within the smokers rights community who would make betta admins of a site similar to this.
If there's someone in modern times who's interested in consolidating their smokers rights site with yours (although yours is mainly a forum....even the Smokers Club has a lot more smoking articles to read), that person must wanna compete with FORCES in particular. |
