| Is it possible to quit smoking through natural methods, I mean without using those nicotine patch or medications. I don’t have much faith in medications. |

Considering millions have done so long before big pharma invented patches and gum; I'd say yes. A better question would be WHY you didn't know that already.....
There is only ONE guaranteed method to quit ANYTHING (smoking, drugs, drinking, gambling, eating, etc), and that one thing is DESIRE FROM WITHIN. You have to REALLY want to quit something to succeed at it. Otherwise, nothing will work, at least not for long. |

"You can purchase now “Stop Smoking Guru” for only 19.95 dollars
That’s a good deal and you know it. With an average price of 3 bucks a pack this amounts to roughly 7 packs. On average the amount of money a smoker spends weekly. I’m sure that you see the rationale behind it. You must commit to this change mentally and putting your money where your mouth is, delivers one of the best ways to start."
Only $19.95 and no will power! Average price of cigarettes $3.00 per pack. Where do you live buddy? India? |

That's funny!!!!
The site looks like it needs a fiscal upgrade
How about
"Only $19.95! The cost of two packs of cigarettes in NYC!"
I do like sites like this and John Polito's site - they are not hawking drugs and not in the pockets of big pharma or the government.
Many studies on quitting that I have read rate 'cold turkey' just as-or-more successful than the medical route.
I hope people stay away from Chantix/Champix, and if they are convinced to try it I hope they read all the side effects reported on the drug and make sure people they know monitor their behavior.
It's not a harmless drug. |

I have heard that electronic cigarettes work well for people who want to stop smoking, try out this website for further details: electronic-cigarettes-online.co.uk/
Please let me know if electronic cigarettes have worked for anyone aiming to quit smoking? |

Lynda is absolutely right. The "will" to stop anything from smoking to overeating is the greatest deterent.
What cracks me up no end is when the medical profession and others tell people in their 80s and 90s that they HAVE TO QUIT, cuz they're killing themselves. Give me a break!
The trauma to them both emotionally and physically is deadly. |

They have worked for many. Visit the Electronic Cigarette Forums and read the quit meters of those who post there. I am presently using eletronic cigarettes, in combination with snus to quit. If you do decide to go with the electronic cigarette route, order backup supplies for the inevitable FDA crackdown on both the devices and the nicotine liquids needed to create the vapors. More information is available in the forums. |

| I quit with e-cigs but have switched since to snus. It works like a charm, but allows you to stay on the nicotine, which I have no desire to quit EVER anyway. |

How do you keep the SNUs from staining your teeth? I got a sampler pack of Swedish SNUs, so I have about 10 cans, but I can't get around the staining. Is there some trick to keeping your teeth white? |
