Hello
Do any of you feel that anti-smoking advertising has had an effect on your smoking behaviour or attitude towards smoking?
If so, why has it had this effect?
And if not, why do you think that is?

I’m conducting research into the effects of anti-smoking advertising on smokers’ behaviour for my Media Studies course at college
It would be a great help to gain some first hand information! |

Another good spot to research
For me, everytime I see a Quit-Ad, etc. I have to light up.
It's almost a Pavlovian response.
Moreso than if I see an actor light up in a movie or tv show. |

| The ads, like the entire "anti" campaign, are so patently insulting that one would not want to be associated with the other-directed middle-brows the ads are appealing to. |

They have NO effect on my smoking behaviour or attitude about smoking. HOWEVER, they do manage to raise my blood pressure to dangerous levels. I have a list going so when I die from watching one my son knows where to start suing. |
