| He dude…My doctor prescribes me chantix for quit smoking. I want to buy it online, for this I browsed the net and find sites like http://www.chantixhome.com . My question is this site good for buy online? Is there any other option rather than chantix for quit smoking? |

First off, why do you want to quit smoking? Are you truly sick of it? Is it because of the high cost due to the punitive taxation? Significant other putting pressure on you?
Second, have you done any research on this snake oil your doc wants you to take? The FAA has banned pilots from taking it.
The best option that has worked for, by far, the most people who really want to quit is to...well....just quit! |

Holy Crap, Pfizer is losing so much money on this killer drug Chantix that they have to advertise on message forums to keep their shareholders happy?
mccarthy, if you truly value your health, do not take Chantix - Champix.
As runamok stated, Chantix is banned for Airline pilots, if you value yourself less than them, have at it...
If you want to quit smoking, Cold Turkey is the most effective way. |

I don't know anything about this Chantix drug but most of the people I know that have quit, have done so by just quitting cold turkey.
Hope you're quitting for the right reasons though. |

Chantix, lol, what a joke.
If any substance should be banned, and pulled from the shelves, it should be chantix.
Honestly, we've been through "study" after "study", and it cannot be proven that the farce known as "SHS" is a killer, but it HAS been shown that chantix can really mind-fvck a person, and it IS dangerous.
Question;
When is the pharms going to start being held responsible for THEIR PROVEN killer products? When will they be pulled from the shelves? When will they be banned?
When will they be harassed like the tobacco companies?? |

| Tobacco companies never fought well. The big American companies signed a collaboration pact with "public health" to screw smokers every which-way in 1998 (the MSA: Master Settlement Agreement.) Those companies are a big part of the problem and no part of any solution. At the very least stop buying their products at high US MSA prices: if you keep smoking find the better options. As to Chantix/Champix: quit if you want but don't take that bilge! It doesn't help and it can ferk your head. Use your head instead. "Cold turkey" isn't palatable for everyone. Lots of folks cut down gradually (by the clock, for instance) over a few weeks and then leave tobacco alone. Most who quit do it on their own and they have better success than folks do generally with losing weight and keeping it off. Personally, I don't want to quit now primarily because of Anti (I also love smoking), but if I did want to stop I'd just cut down and then leave off. Chantix/Champix is the last thing in the world you want. Your doctor is full of poop when it comes to tobacco. He's reciting the false Gospel. Again, you have to use your own head. Good luck, with quitting, or not. |
