I just had the phone-in radio interview, and I think it went really well. Thanks to everyone for supplying facts and arguments for me!
When we first dialed in to do the talk show we were off the air, and I exchanged a few pleasentries with Ethel, the anti-smoking "health" advocate, and Melody Brooke, the radio show host. Then as the interview started I introduced myself, again very pleasantly and briefly. And then Ethel introduced herself, and *immediately* attacked me hardcore and relentlessly calling me an addict, my brain addled, etc. I was blindsided, I must admit.
But let me tell you, friends and faithful readers, that I launched a counter-offensive which will go down in Pro-Smoking Advocacy groups as legendary lore!!! I railed on her and her extremist views, conspiracy theories and blind ignorance to the power and control of the liberal media!
By the end of the interview (which went on for an hour) I practically had the interviewer on my side, and admitting that smokers have a valid right and argument and that there is no conclusive proof that Second Hand Smoke is harmful!
My primary stance in this historic debate you may ask? Give me one study, by defnitive name, that proves Second Hand Smoke is harmful. We argued back and forth on it for awhile, until she eventually said, "I admit, I don't have one."
Slam dunk. Now I just hope they don't edit it down ... |

LOL, yeah I thought about that old reference as well 
No, this is a relative unknown, just a friend of the talk show host. Hasn't published anything and is not in charge of any group. As far as I know, she isn't even a member of or affiliated with any group. Just someone who doesn't like smoke. |
