The vile little bastard who was former Clinton advisor, Dick Morris, (who got caught with a hooker sucking her toes during the long dreary Clinton reign)was on Vanity & Bones last night (FOX news) and said that tobacco and smoking was "one of the nine most major problems facing the country today" and that McCain didn't agree with Bush on any of the nine issues (which he named, but the only one I remember is illegal immigration). I'm assuming he meant McCain would take a more Clintonesque role in persecuting smokers. If I could only convey to you how much I hate this smug little prick. He's the one that singlehandedly started the war on smokers by convincing the Clintons (and Gore and the Dem party-who followed suit once they saw it was catching on)they needed to start a 'war on 'big tobacco'". Of course, we all know, the bully pulpit of the presidency, combined with the media being 90% liberal and picking up the frenzy, resulted in the demonization and 'denormalizing' of smokers, and little else. Yes, I know, Glantz and Banzaf )sp?) and all the others had been around, and the junk science had come out, but nothing was done until the Clintons (and then the media, who worshipped their every word)started the snowball rolling. Obama will not get my vote, nor do I think he's going to win, but he deserves a God-damned medal for saving us from these vile bastards for another eight years. I have never been so pleased in my entire life as I have been to realize the Clinton machine is finally out of national politics.
