That was a nice party. It was a dream party for a cigar fetisher. I saw several women smoking cigars in there myself. At least those ladies were smoking big cigars and not the Swisher Sweet and Black & Mild cigars that are almost as small as a cig.

I smoked a big cigar myself. I had a mild one, although it didn't taste lke a light cigar. Breanna (the lady who invited me to the party) told me to "Don't inhale [the cigar smoke]."

I think I inhaled a little bit of cigar smoke, and I got some tobacco bits in my mouth as well.

No wonder I hardly see cigar smokers in public. These things take too long to smoke. It took me almost an hour to smoke the whole cigar. I didn't like this guy and Breanna lighting my cigar several times. It kept going out by itself if I didn't drag on it for a while.

Smoking a cigar is a lot different than smoking a cigarette. But I still enjoyed my first-cigar experience.

Oh yeah. I also learned I need a bigger lighter to light one up. I was told a Bic lighter won't work on a big cigar.

Aside from smoking the cigar, I played pool and danced a little bit. Some ladies told me "You look nice." Maybe I'll have an updated pic of myself once I see the pics taken from the party.

After smoking that cigar, I didn't bother smoking a Newport for 3 hours.

If we didn't live under the spell of antis, then smoking parties lke this one would be open to the general public. Because in the general public, the days of seeing a group of smokers have a god time at gatherings are over. I can understand why that party wasn't open to the general public anyway....I know I wouldn't like the idea of antis disrupting the smokers' fun!

Who are you telling? I have only smoked cigars a few times in my life. I really can't take that much nicotine at once!

A cigar is like smoking 3 cigs at once.

It didn't take me long to get used to dragging on a cigar, since it was like smoking a non-menthol cig.

LOL - you're not supposed to inhale cigars! Some cigars contain less or the same nic as one cig, some contain lots more - but since you're not inhaling the smoke, it is only entering the bloodstream through the membranes in your mouth - a lesser level than the direct inhalation from cigs.

What you probably dislike is the smoke, as cigars do generate a lot more smoke and they do take a bit of getting used to to enjoy. But the smoke and flavor of the cigar is what makes it so enjoyable! But much like scotch and brandy, cigars are an acquired taste.

I ordered a box of Excalibur cigars last summer, 60 guage and about 8 inches long -- I remember making one last about 5 hours.

As for lighting them, you have to rotate them, both during the light and as you smoke them, so that the burn stays even. If you've got a cone going, you're in good territory.

And no, don't inhale them.

Just offering some advice for less experienced or first time cigar smokers, haha.

Interesting advice, as I am interested in one day trying smoking a cigar. Of course, I don't have an immediate desire to do it, though!
