I'm pretty new to smoking and as a rule i don't smoke anything containing nicotine. so no, i never smoke a cigarette.
Cigars are getting expensive even tho i smoke one about once a week.
So I've figured why not buy tobacco and roll it myself?
I'm not into casual smoking and the work of doing it myself will keep me from making a habbit out of it, so I'm not into thoes tube filling machines or tube filling at all. Simple rolling papers will do.
ANYHOW, I've wandered through a lot of online shops, and kind of lost myself in the variety and options. So I'm looking for refference and tips for:
1. which tobacco to choose? I'm looking for regular raw tobacco taste. No additional taste and not light ones.
2. recommanded shops with cheap international shipping (As I'm from Israel)
3. Anything else I should know?
Buying inside Israel is madness, as a pouch of Drum costs 12 bucks while a CAN of Drun at online stores i've looked through are priced around 10 bucks. |

OK, I'm confused. You don't smoke as a rule, and definitely don't smoke tobacco so never smoke cigarettes.
Aren't cigars made from tobacco? Doesn't all tobacco have nicotine? Obviously I'm ignorant of cigars or I wouldn't be asking.
But now that cigars are getting expensive you want to roll your own? Tobacco HAS nicotine. How will you handle that?
Personally, I found your post rather contradictory. Like you couldn't decide if you were a smoker or an anti.
But that's just me. |

sorry, english isn't my strong side.
I do not smoke anything that has nicotine added to it.
And I'm anti-nothing. |

Lynda, I'm with you. Contradictory, for sure.
But giving him the benefit of the doubt...maybe he's confusing nicotine with something else. Chemical additives, maybe.
Anyway, Drum is a cigarette tobacco. I don't think you can roll a cigar out of it. I don't know much about cigars, but from what I do know, they are whole leaves of tobacco rolled up into a cigar shape. Cigarette tobacco is shredded (like Drum) and needs papers.
Hope this helps. |

i'm looking for rolling tobacco.
I don't want to roll cigars, its just the "healthy" option right now. I'm looking for a cheaper option than cigars and a less addictive option than cigarettes. |

Then my only suggestion is what I was told when I started looking to roll my own. You have to just try different tobaccos to find one to your liking.
I use American Spirit tobacco, no additives. Most rolling tobacco has no chemical additives. You just have to find one you like. |
