I live in MA and recently, on 1st of July, 2008, state tax was raised - now a pack of cigs is around $8. Obviously, I am not going to encourage such thing and I want to have my cigarettes for some reasonable price.

Don't order online, Deval 'Cadillac' will want those extra taxes from you.....one day or years from now.

Drive to NH or Find someone else that drives to NH and buy up there, [unless you live on the Cape- but people on the Cape are also driving to NH]
NH is only 1 hour away from most towns in MA.

Gas, Food and Booze is cheaper there too so it's a win-win.

Or do what Darkseid typed, Make your own.
I haven't paid exorbitant MA or NH cigarette taxes for years.

You can make a pack of cigarettes [depending on the tobacco used] anywhere from $0.75/pk to $2.00/pk.

I see. But I don't have a car :-/
Could someone give me an idea where to look for tobacco to MYO? And paper, as well. I live in Boston, so I need something relatively close.

Most stores that carry cigarettes also carry one or two brands of rolling tobacco (usually bugler and tops). Find a smoke shop where you can buy also. I live in Arizona and don't have a car and lousy mass transit (boston's is better I believe) so I do most of my tobacco and tubes buying online as I'm too lazy to take the 2 buses it would take me to get to the nearest smoke shop that carries my American Spirit tobacco as well as tubes. You might have to buy the machine to stuff them online though as I've not found one locally yet.

Yes, I should try find some good tobacco shop around. And I guess I can't buy loose tobacco online because they can bill me for that as well, right?

The tax deal is nowhere near the same as it is for pre-made cigarettes. It's more like regular sales tax, not bad at all.
