I just started RYO and I noticed that the king filtered tubes have the air holes in the filter, but 100s at least the two brands I've tried so far (zig zag and tops) do not. Does anyone know a brand of light 100s cigarette tubes that have the air hole rings on them? For now I've been using a pin to make the holes so the cigarette is lighter (i'm a ultra light smoker) or is there a device that can make the holes for you? Thanks!

Premier Tubes have the pinholes, but I'm not sure if they make 100's.

Here's a neat site on MYO/RYO:

I use Premier 100's light tubes and I can tell you that 1. they DO make 100's; and 2. there are NO pinholes in MY tubes. The only cigs I ever saw with pinholes were Ultra-lights.

That's weird. my premier light King tubes have pinholes, which I hate [by the way]
It allows so much smoke to escape that the tar/finger issue is a bit much on certain days Sad

I got the Premier Light 100's. They made my smokes feel more like I had a filter from a Marlboro or some other manufactured cigg. However, they had that Parliment paper taste to them, with the Windsail Light though it goes, with my Bali Shag it doesn't at all so I'm using the Zig Zags for the Bali Shag. I just started using those Magic25 filters for some of my ciggs, not all because I need a real smoke sometimes, those are interesting but make my lights a little too light sometimes.

I, too, am an ultralight smoker. I had a hell of a time finding a tube I liked. I began with the perforated tubes, using Gambler and Zig-Zag light tubes. However, these tubes still left my cigs too strong and harsh, even with ultralight tobaccos, for two reasons. First of all, the filters in these tubes are exceedingly short, being 10 mm, if I remember correctly. Secondly, the filters were low-density. Eventually, I discovered the Ramback Elite tubes, which have a high-density, 20mm filter. Whereas the Zig-Zag and Gambler light tubes would leave filters that were almost black at the center once snuffed out, the Ramback Elite tubes, being high density and longer, would be barely stained at all when snuffed out. The filters in the Ramback Elite tubes are considerably stronger and sturdier, than even the filters in premades like Camel Lights. I have ordered at least 56 cartons of these tubes this year as a result. The Ramback Elite tubes can be ordered from D & R, but do not come in 100mm length tubes, to my knowledge.
