Hi,
I just started to get into rolling tobacco because of the price increase for ciggs in NY. I wanted to know what brand sold in stores would be comparable to Marlboro Ultra lights? I'm also looking to buy this rolling machine called Premier Quick Fill Hand Injector, I chose it because I smoke 100's, if anyone has used this machine if you could tell me if it works well I would appreciate that too. Thanks! Very Happy

Pamela, welcome to the forum,

I don't know about the Marlboro taste match. When I started I used to smoke Monarch's [Generic Winston's] I just got used to a different taste.

For me, I experimented with different tobacco's and tubes [tube choice will make a flavor difference too]

If you smoke more than a few cigarettes a day I would suggest buying a large injector - you will tire and get frustrated with the hand injectors.

Check out this site:http://www.ryomagazine.com/injectors.htm
There are Supermatic injectors that will shoot 100's. Costs range from $50-$70 for the machine.
You'll get that money back within a few cartons, in NY I bet the cost would even out within a few packs.

Yes, I choose that HH because it's cheap and I'm new to this so I want to see if it's for me. I do smoke a pack a day so I see what you mean about it prehaps taking a while to make them so if this all works out I probably would buy the machine you are talking about. I have read that Windsail lights are a good choice alternative to Marlboro Ultra Lights, i was thinking about getting that tobacco with a light tube filter. People talk about the Vanguer (spell?) as well but they say Vanguer is a better choice if you smoke lights or above because it's stronger and Windsail is a more mild tobacco. Unless there is a cheaper brand alternative to Windsail anyone knows of that's like Marlboros I will probably end up getting a sample size of that one to try.

If I were you I would try the regular windsail with light filters first. Windsail is a very light tobacco. Windsail is what I smoke almost exclusively. I always smoked Light 100's and found that windsail with a regular filter was perfect for me.

Windsail Light is a PHENOMENAL tobacco, being a British Virginia and probably my absolute favorite Virginia. I've no idea how close it would come to a Marlboro light, however.

The Venguer also comes in a light version and Marlboro Light smokers LOVE it, saying it is a better Marlboro Light than Marlboro Lights themselves are.
