Hello,
After reading through some posts here, I'm a bit scared to order anything online. Several years back, I used to buy from YesSmokes religiously. Then, like many others, they were shut down. At least I was lucky enough not to receive one of those tax letters.
Anyhow, I'm trying to save some money after both our cigarettes & sales tax went up at the start of this year. But finding a good online retailer is a bit more daunting than I thought. I've read previously that many will share your information with "the man" and for some reason, using a Mastercard [as opposed to a Visa] is also a good way to get caught. But I was wondering if there is a good, reputable retailer out there.
Yesterday, I came across "EuroCheapCigarettes" and looked over their small print. It doesn't mention anything funny - but in all honesty, I might not be looking in the right spot. But it did mention it uses some sort of 3rd party processing center. That kind of scares me a bit.
Does anyone know of a good one that won't share your information and also won't make you go to the Post Office to pickup a missed package?
Thanks! |

Hello,
Sorry to bump this topic, but I've been trying to google any reviews of that vendor and haven't had any luck either way. But, I did google their payment processor "C-Cash" and found this link on Rip-Off Report. It doesn't relate to cigarettes much less that merchant though. Plus, that's all I came up with. If it was really a rip-off, you'd think there were more things out there.
Again, I don't mean to be a pain, but if anyone might know of a safe and cheap resource, I'd really appreciate it!
Edit: I don't want to keep junking up the boards, but I think I found one in CigarettesForLess.com! Their FAQ's are consistent from everthing I heard before regarding the whole Visa vs Mastercard thing! That doesn't necessarily mean I'm right or anything, but in their disclosure, at least they're saying all the right things! Plus, they have a forum that isn't filled with "rip-off" blah blah blah. Then again, if I was a vendor, I'd probably delete those threads right away.
Anyone have any experience with them? |

The safest and surest bet is to find a smoke shop local to you and start making your own. It's cheaper, lots less taxes (so far) and by paying in cash you don't leave a paper trail that leads directly to your front door.
Making your own isn't that difficult OR time consuming. I roll out my weeks worth on the weekend while watching television. Depending on how slow/fast I'm working, it only takes me anywhere from 2 - 4 hours to roll out a weeks worth. IF you have the time to sit and watch a game on TV, you have the time to roll your own smokes.
Besides, it's a cleaner tobacco, no added chemicals in it. |
