OK, Thanks
He/She is pushing Dirt Cheap and Big Daddy - are these places bad?
Posted all over the place today, must be the first week of working at the company [probably straight commission] looking like a goodie working on the weekend... |

I don't know about those 2 - the URL he pushed here had a number in it, that's all I remember. Give them a day or two, I'm sure they'll come back and then we can see again |

| Even though I cleaned my PC, I hope there's not a virus on my computer that my antivirus software can't detect....since a site with numbas in it usually is a virus site. |

| Do you ever run your anti-virus or anti-spyware programs while in 'safe mode'? Many times that'll get something that would slip through otherwise. |

They should run ok-mine both work for SCANNING, but the 'real-time shield' part (checking for incoming stuff like you were online)won't work on either when in safe mode (and naggingly keep telling you so as if something's wrong). If yours does that , don't worry about it, the scan itself will work fine. I've caught many viruses and spyware that way. Reason being, those unwanted things won't start up in safe mode to protect themselves/elude you, and are therefore easier to detect. I ain't no 'pooter genius, but I do know a few tricks. |
