I'd like to pass this smoking-based rally info along to both Iowa smokers and IL smokers. (Or in the case of this forum, any smoking activists who want to travel to anotha smokers rally)
Although this rally is in Iowa, the smoker who told me about this event hopes any IL smokers who live in her area (near the IL/Iowa border) will show their support at this Iowa rally. This rally is focusing on Iowa smokers fighting for their right to smoke in places.
If you neva heard (for those who smoke in IL), Iowa is entertaining the idea of having their own state smoking ban. And I hear Iowans ain't taking the proposed idea lightly.

Clinton's Organized Bar and Restaurant Association is holding a rally to bring awareness to the fact that government is imposing on our rights as citizens.
Our fight is the smoking ban at this time. Keep in mind the next right they take away could be something that you feel strongly about. Please try to join us, we are inviting the politicians, news crews, radio, newspapers in order for us
