Jon Hemminghaus is having a smoke-in at his business in West Frankfort, Illinois.
This guy's the ultimate. He's already called in a complaint....against himself....and is telling the authorities they can shove it up their a$$.
Now he is being threatened with arrest and a $2500.00 fine if he goes through with the protest but he's not backing down for a minute.
It's on March 1 at noon. Anybody reasonably close to West Frankfort should make a point of being there. I'm half tempted to drive down there from Minneapolis.

| I wish I had some darn way I could make it there tomorrow. I seriously almost wanna cry that I won't be able to make that tomorrow(since if I actually owned a car, I would've heavily considered making a trip down there), but I wish Jon Hemminghaus the best of luck! |

Good job and may the people who smoke show extreme support.
Please help with this also, see below. Lets hit back where ever possible.

Please click this link or cut and paste it into your browser, once there click on Local News, then to the right you will see a news poll that states,” DO you agree with the smoking ban”. If you are a smoker who wants to restore some freedom of choice please select, “ no “ then submit it. You do not have to leave your name or comments.
There is a group of about 30 people who sit in front of a sponsored computer and vote every hour, they are against smoking so they vote yes, this is how the ban was put in place, by using deceptive tactics .
Since they are not playing by the rules we should respond using the same method.
You can vote as many times as possible, just once every hour, and for as many days as you want to.
Thanks for your help in restoring some form of freedom. |

The poll is gone from the local news page. If you have the actual URL to the poll just cut and paste it here, and I'll vote on it. |
