How did this dude get back into the forum, Bill? You never cancel registrations? We need extra aggravation here? |

LOL, no I didn't cancel his registration - unlike some anti-smokers here who had to be banned, he never really became a big pain in the ass.
I welcome all anti-smokers to come to the site and engage in a healthy and open dialogue and debate about smoker's rights issues; the problem is, it seems only smokers can remain calm and intelligent in their arguments. Let's hope he (and others) can remain civil in their arguments. |

Oh I can have a civilized discussion with an anti as long as the MFer doesn't tell me I still stink even afta taking a shower.
If an anti wants to argue instead of have a mature discussion, we can argue in person. Come on over to the Windy City so I can smoke your OWN butt. LOL |

Lets see...Darkseid calls me RightUpMyA$$
Jeep_God calls me NOTInMyGULAG and says I'm Soft and shriveled?" (sorry Jeepy - that's what sucking on those cancer sticks does)
Cignet thinks I'm a paid agent of some nefarious organization that wants people to be healthy.
toekuttr thinks he's funny stating "ïf Not in Your EyEs caUse it Stings, then in yOur mOuth?
patdaly comes right out and says "Fvck you very much"
Jay says he can have a "civilized discussion with an anti," but then insinuates that antis are all MFers
Wow Bill - is that your idea of "healthy and open dialogue and debate????" Gay bashing (hint - I'm not the one who sucks on fags all day boys), personal attacks, and general "Fvck yous". So Bill - when are you going to ban the pro-smoking hate mongers that post on your forum????
Amazing - I stop by and say hello and this thread becomes one of the most popular you've had in a long time - Wow - the hate that is built up inside so many of you...It's so sad to see.
and to those who think that smoking bans are going away. Wow - you make me laugh at how out of touch with reality you are. S. Dakota will be expanding theirs soon. The only talk here in NJ is to include Atlantic City (which should have been there in the first place). Germany is joining the rest of Europe and banning smoking in many places. Your silly little smoking airline - Smintair still hasn't gotten off the ground, and in their own words - SMINTair faces difficulties in doing scheduled services. Hell - I've almost forgot what it's like to walk in to a restaurant and have to breath your smoke. Keep sucking on those fags boys - you KNOW you want to - you can stop whenever you want, but why stop sucking on fags when you're having so much fun standing out in the cold / all alone???? |

...and since I mentioned Smintair? What's up with them. Now they're starting their own political party?
What happened to the airline? Where do they fly to?
It seems like only June of 2006 when Mr Schoppmann was optimistic his airline will take off next summer (2007)
I love your idea about smoking bans being overturned....10 new bans come into existence. One gets modified by tobacco money controlled legislators and you people think you've won the world series.
Please tell me - how many airlines can you smoke on? Which supermarkets can you smoke in? Which hotel chains allow smoking in all rooms? Which states allow smoking anywhere? |

Hey nOt iN YOur EyeS buT YoUr mOuth, I was under the impression you were a woman. So this was not a gay reference, you just have a "spoiled little schoolgirl" way of writing. Its probably just the "Nancy" way you come across. You sound so resentful towards smokers in general. You really must realize that all these restrictions can be insulting to us heavily taxed, law abiding smokers, who, for years have been burdened w/ these oppressive laws. Then you post snide remarks, coming off like a poor winner. You seriously wonder why you got such a chilly reception? Your quote; "I'm not the one who sucks on fags all day" Hey, noone says you suck on them ALL day, Christ, you gotta breath too! You must have a lot of free time, or a strange agenda. |

Hey, I just said that the smokinglobby *website* is an open forum for discussion, I never said the people here wouldn't hate your guts. I have nothing against hate mongers - I never said they weren't welcome. |

You ARE a punky-A MFer if you think smoking is banned outside of Illinois. You just said "Which states allow smoking ANYWHERE?"
You can still smoke outside in Illinois, albeit you gotta be more than 15 feet away from the door. You can still smoke in tobacco shops as well.
I hear Florida has exemptions for bars in their state ban. As well as Tennessee exempting places where you have to be at least 21 years old to enter.
I suggest you do some of your own research on the state bans. before making it sound like you just won a Super Bowl with a 19-0 record. I heard when Missouri proposed a state ban, the Missourians voted NO. So in response to one of your boy-like Q, Missouri is one state that doesn't have a state ban. And as long as the state residents can vote on the matta, they neva will have a state ban.
Asking residents to vote on a state ban proposal is the way it needs to be in all 50 states.
Keep on rooting for that smoke-free USA. You won't see it anytime soon in 2008. |

I gotta say, I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that the indoor bar and restaurant bans will be coast to coast in a few short years followed shortly by bans in all outdoor public spaces followed shortly by bans in ALL indoor spaces (including my car and my home). Any of us who deny that haven't been paying much attention since anti told us all they really wanted was a smoke-free airline flight.
We're gettin' steamrolled at an ever accelerating pace.
NIME, where do you see it going after that? |
