[
ote="gilster"]D&R are reliable ,good outfit, I bought tobacco and a machine from them when I first started MYO.
I'm Internet Tax paranoid so I stick to the brick-n-mortar stores in my travels and only buy with cash.{Also can't be tracked as a smoker when the gov't gets around to seizing credit card transactions}
I used to buy cigs from Seneca Hawk years ago, I hope I stopped soon enough - late 90's. NH was close for me, so runs up there were easy and I bought in bulk until I went MYO.
Now I don't have to deal with those gross Fire-Safe Cigs. Actually Pre-Made Cigs taste like crap for me now -Except AS, I spoiled myself....
I can buy a tin of AS tobacco [American Spirit] for under $13 and tubes for around $3 - so a carton is costing me a little over $16 - [can't seem to make the tin go the full carton- but close]
Any Mom-and-Pop stores that do a decent cig business should welcome MYO/RYO customers. If you see stores with large cig sections ask them to order MYO supplies, every Cig distributor can order/deliver MYO too.[/quote] |

greetings all here is a quick update I went too smokersclub discount tobacco store 664 North Main Street Torrington Ct (860)482-0236 across the street from cvs pharmacy, they have a average selection of ryo tobacco and tube filters prices are fair compared too online they also carry injector machines from 7$-50$ top models supermatic 1 and 2 I purchased a supermatic 2 and its really nice 53$ w/tax easy too use and make your own smokes. bought some midnight speacial menthol tobacco
and its really strong so i mix in some top menthol with it but will be buying a full flavor blend of tobacco to help lighten up the menthol
i am using premier menthol tube filters as well theses are nice and add extra strength too the smoke anyhow any1 interested in checking this store out should do so friendly staff as well. |

You'll pay for that Supermatic within three cartons - and then its gravy from there
Good to hear you have a store that's pretty close.
Hope you bought with cash
It's difficult to find a tobacco you like at first, but because the cost is relatively nominal with the small pouches - you can experiment
Welcome to the MYO world |

| Haven't gotten to the store Mike mentions in Torrington yet. But I have tried some American Spirit ( light blue can) and it gave me a pounding headache after a few hours. So now I have to try something different...any ideas from what is available in that store Mike? |

Luna, the American Spirit is Strong but you can regulate it by which filter tube you buy - I buy the premier Lights [I like Zen's better but can't get at a local store yet]
It takes a bit to change from pre-Made to Natural, you aren't smoking all the added chemicals in the pre-packs, and AS has much more nicotine.
Try a variety of tobacco's, the stores in CT should have a variety of small pouches to test....also, most important, test which tubes you like...it makes all the difference in the world on taste/strength. |

You might to read some reviews on Gambler before you purchase it, as many find it unpalatable. To each his own and no offense to Gambler intended, JMHO. |
