This invoice doesn't say carton anywhere on it. Even if I was an authority reading this invoice and I assumed that 2 stood for 2 cartons, I can't calculate the numba of packs made in the order. Some brands have less than 10 packs in them. I heard of brands with 25 cigs in a pack, and a carton of these brands have 8 packs in the carton.

These international cig shops are actually LESS trustworthy. They may not have to report orders. But I gotta wait for 10-21 business days from the date of my order to receive the (I guess) duty-free cigs? Suppose I run outta smokes while waiting for my order made at cigoutlet.biz?

I read this shop's forum. I read a few posts from cigoutlet customers who had their orders seized and they had to get refunded. Since they neva got the cigs.

I don't feel safe in ordering from an international cig shop. I don't lke the idea of waiting for 4 weeks to get cartons. A shop that doesn't report orders AND has fast delivery woud be #1 in my books.

Don't fall for a shop that offers ref comissions and autoship. This type of smoke shop depends on new customers so the shop can send out even MORE invoices monthly! And when the order is placed for you automatically, then the shop knows the tax authorities can automatically cash in!

Of the shops that don't report orders, including international shops, these cig vendors don't have autoship (where orders are automatically placed on your behalf per month), and they don't offa you 10 bucks for each customer you refer.

Credit card or not I'd be leery of USA online sales of any tobacco product and for that matter of any mail order from anywhere. You don't know all that's going on. They're out to get us and they're out to get the sellers. Cash at a discount shop within a reasonable distance is the best way to go. Watch for spotters too. They are doing that in some places.

Speaking of that, Tennessee has been doing MUCH MORE of those activities(that is, TN Dept. of Revenue spotters trying to stop TN residents buying cigs in neighboring states, and requiring them to either surrender the cartons they've bought, or pay the TN cig tax on them), since TN's July 2007 tobacco tax hike from 20 to 62 cents:

It was also for me, a major reason why I waited until Kentucky to buy a few packs of cigs(and thus to protest the TN tobacco tax hike), when I was returning home from a vacation to Atlanta in October of this year.

Holy sheet! So we have at least one state who WILL force you to pay back taxes on cigs you bought OFFLINE and outside of TN!

I can see it now....TN smokers getting put behind bars because they refused to pay back taxes on cartons they bought in say Florida...just for a vacation trip.

That TN smoking chick who said she would smack the living sheet outta a TN official snooping into her vehicle (to see how many cartons she bought)...she sounds like my kind of lady! Snooping into a vehicle is like snooping into her purse.

Unless TN has officials on all four borders of the state 24/7, it's impossible to catch every single smoker entering the state with 3 or more cartons.

Raising cig taxes is all about greed. Because if the state wanted smokers to quit, they would ban cigs.

It is very true that if you use your credit card then you can get taxed. I have been with the same mail-order company, who did take credit cards, but had to stop in April of 2004 because of the pressure from the states who want there taxes. Red Jacket has been the best company, I can't use my credit card, but I use my checks over the phone. I have been with them for 7 years and never (knock on wood) had a problem. Call them and get your cigarettes they might be a little higher on some brands, but if you talk to Angie there she will probably match any price you can come up with. 1-877-945-2350 is there number, tell them smoke em sent you. They give me $5.00 for every referral I have. They would do them same for you.
