Has anyone tried this baccy?
The only source they have listed is Lil Brown and no sample size.
The price is right because they're just getting started.

| I have a 6 oz. bag of the Blackjack ultralight on order with Lil' Brown, based on a recommendation found on the SYO forums. I will post back once I have received the order and had a good 24 hours to test the ultralight. |

I went ahead and tried one of each -- FF -Lt -and U Lt. After smoking the light and ultra light I couldn't tell a difference in the two. It is a stronger tobacco than the Gambler but it is smooth.
I ran a tar filter on a pack of each and found it to have about twice the tar as the Gambler.
I noticed a slight whang that is familar to Stokers (not bad)
All in All I'd say it is a good cheap tobacco but I'd say that the light and ultra light comes out of the same bin

Ugh! That does not bode well for me.

I use assorted filters as well. I knew I shouldn't have purchased tobacco in this price range. Which filters do you use or have tried?

I had to use an acidic rinse on the Smoker's Outlet ultralight because it was way too strong for my tastes. Looks like I will be doing the same to the Blackjack ultralight. |

alist,
I had an inlaw quit and donate a case of "magic 25" filters to the cause.
I use them to tell how much tar is in the new tobacco that I try.
If you can get the same taste and flavor with less tar ----then thats the baccy to go for

I have a box of TarBar I am trying out. Smoking the Rave ultralight through one of these, stuffed into a Zig Zag light tube, gives the lightest and smoothest smoke, and just enough nicotine hit for me. I am also experimenting with the AquaFilters, which seem to lighten a bit more than the TarBar. The Denicotea cartridges stink like hell after the third smoke, so those are out. Next on the list are TarGuard permanent and Friend Holder with cartridges, which are similar to the Magic25 and TarBar but include an extra fibre filter. I am on a mission to create the perfect ultralight, such that at the end of the day, I don't feel as if I have smoked at all.

I will always have something similar on hand to do the same.

I don't even mind a small reduction in nicotine hit, but really wish to reduce the tar as much as possible.
I will have the BlackJack ultralight tomorrow, so will be able to give a report. |

| For a cheaper one, do they sell Midnight Special in anyone elses' area? I used to mix that with something else, but I can't remember what. |

I can't find Midnight Special locally, but then, Midnight Special doesn't come in ultralight anyway. Lil Brown has Midnight Special at 3 bucks higher than the Blackjack, if comparing 6 oz bags. |

| Yeah, prices vary in different areas. Around here, Midnight Special is about the cheapest. |
