I'll be on FM92 of West Virginia University, the student's radio station.
I will be one of the "group" there with Comedian, Rene Hicks (www.renehicks.com) and Christina Mickey of the Monongalia County Health Dept. (county health department sanitarian) and sole employee of "Smoke Free WV", the Coalition of One (state employee who works under Senator Prezioso, Senate Chair of the DHHR Committee, DHHR oversees the "Smoke Free WV) who goes around instigating the WV smoking bans at our local health departments (http://www.wvdhhr.org/bph/oehp/tobacco/smokefree/html/index.html) and myself.
We be on the air Wednesday, Sept. 19th at 7:00 PM, EST, I will be interviewed on a pre recording in the afternoon and be on live at 7 PM also.
You can listen in online at http://u92.wvu.edu/ - the call in number should

| I tuned in the problem was the phone line did not work. Maryetta never got on. The anti was in the studio. All the questions from the young gal hosting appeared scripted and lead ins. Just caught about 10 minutes of it. The same old anti BS. The anti was granted a free pass as usual. |

Well, geeezz, I don't know whether to Thank each of you, or be disappointed. They were never able to get me on the air at all.
Seems we "locked up" their phone system, and possibly their internet as several people called me, after the show, to tell me they could not access it.
The station rep. that the planned "show against smoking bans" is absolutely furious that this show turned into a one sided conversation all in favor of smoking bans, as only one caller was able to get through during the entire show. Thanks Keith!
Their phone and internet systems essentially crashed on them from the general feedback I have received so far from sources other than the show techs themselves.
While their shows are usually available on I-Tunes, I was told tonight that this one probably will not be. But should you find it there, let me know where it is, as I would like to listen to it too!!!
To the those of you who tried to listen or call in, please do stay tuned.
With this much response another show is in the works already and I will let you know as soon as I know.

I'm sorry to hear that, but it smells very fishy to me that antis more than likely(and I'm sure inevitably) had a role in trying to tie up the phone lines completely to this show. Not to mention, if there was only one guest(the anti from the Smoke Free WV, Monongalia County Health Dept., or whatever group she was from) in the radio studio, of course it doesn't sound like a program I'd ever wanna listen to, unless Maryetta Ables was featured.
Why is it too that I somehow doubt that WVU would do such a show again on their station?? So it's too bad to hear what did occur, but I'm not surprised to hear what did happen either.... |

You should be on by YOURSELF, since the Nazis had free reign last time. That, and ONLY that, would be fair. I suspect that's not how it'll be, though. |
