I know why the cigs are cheaper at yesmoke.com too. Those Camel cigs come from a foreign country where the tobacco is different than US tobacco. My belief is just because cigs are cheaper doesn't necessarily mean they're worth it. Just like with generic cigs....those are like 15 bucks too but they don't taste like a REAL cig to me. SO buying those would be a REAL waste of money 4 me.
I'm not going to dispute the 2 sites. I know I like the idea of getting xredit for each carton I buy, plus fresher cigs delievered to my house (and non-foreign cigs on top of that). I thought Camels were on sale at esmokes for 22 bucks excluding S&H. In my opinion, the quality of cigs is more important than the cheap price. I guess yesmoke.com is the better site if you're more concerned about saving money....although you can get cheap cigs as low as 10 bucks a carton at esmokes.com
If you're more concerned about cig quality at cheaper prices (and accept the fact buying cigs is expensive), then esmokes.com is your best bet. Well 25 bucks for a Camel carton IS cheaper than 35-38 bucks for the same carton at a nearby store by me
Jay is right, at yesmoke you will see (EU which means European Union, made in Europe) which is not as good quality as the ones that say made in USA (which are always the first to run out).
I always seem to get Camel Lights made in the USA and delivery is usually 1-2 weeks which I have no problem with. I just order mine when I have a few packs left.
I would highly recommend that site. |

Esmokes is without a doubt a ligitmate company, but beware that these cigarettes are stamped with a KY or VA stamp, or have state tax paid to NC (where no stamp is required). That means that these cigarettes are taxable in the state of consumption by the whole state tax. I know the NJ dept of taxation has caught people who did this. I know the state of NJ exercises their right to get this information, and I urge anyone buying from a domestic site to check and see if your state dept of taxation deals with this. I think NJ does, because it is profitable at $2.05 per pack. Maybe IL doesn't, but just keep in mind that they can. I would order from any indian reservation in NY for American smokes, you're avoiding a whole lot of risk for possible future lawsuits.
Here's something in their terms and conditions

Now in NJ this limit is 0, and sites like this are forced to turn over information to state departments of taxation at their request since they're a US company, so see if your state bothers with this kind of thing first. Maybe some states don't care about the extra cigarette tax revenue or don't have a division of their dept of taxation that does this. I would just be careful though, because if your state ever doses get investigators on this type of thing, they can charge you back taxes for as far back as they can find. |

| If that bill prohibiting internet cig sales is passed, ALL tobacco online shops will be required to report customer purchases to ALL states, whether IL actually cares or doesn't care as of right now. IL is one state in favor of banning net cig sales altogether. |

| They can pass a bill that bans internet sales, but they will never be able to collect back taxes on cigs bought from overseas or from indian reservations, so if you stick with them, you're safe. American companies like esmokes have to give info to the tax collector upon request. If the indians or overseas companies gave info to the tax collector, all the tax collector could do is use it for reports and analysis. They could never collect tax on a duty free sale. You're right about that bill; they can make online purchases of cigarettes illegal altogether. That's what we should fight against. |

| That bill includes indian reservations with actual online sites, as you pointed out at the end of your post indirectly. Indian online reservations are peed off too, since they're included in reporting customer orders to the states. They're fighting against this bill a lot. |

| That's true, but the thing I like about indian reservations is it's either all or nothing, you know. Either we get it tax free or we don't get it. None of this we may get taxed in the future for our previous years purchases. True, indian sites may be shut down, and that would be a very sad day, but at least states can never collect back taxes on those purchases. |

I have ordered from esmokes in the past a few times. That is until I ran into a problem. I received a carton of French cigs - so stale they crunched and tobacco fell out of them. I contacted esmokes - refused refund - Told me to pay to have them sent back and they'd send a new carton. Now would I want another stale carton!!! Plus spend more shipping charges!!
Actually it was a blessing - I found a few other sites located on reservations where the ship charges were less - smokes very fresh - native brands pretty good like Smokin Joes' and Tracker and Homer. SMOOTHHHHH. I pay about $8.50 for a carton. Order 5 cartons at once and pay $5 to ship.
Been doing this for a couple years - no problems.
If I am allowed to list the sites I've been using let me know. I am new here and don't want to impose. |

| Those Native brands can be pretty good. I tried Senecas, Niagara's, Smokin Joe's, and Natives. They'll all pretty good. I especially enjoy the Natives and Senecas. |
