I got a reply (finally) Figured I would post it here

This is in regards to an email about the Smoking Ban In cars

Quote:
Dear Mr. XXXXX:

I am writing to acknowledge our Legislative Office's receipt of your
E-mail and to thank you for providing Senator Inverso with your
sentiments on this issue.

Let me also sincerely apologize that we could not acknowledge you
sooner. In the weeks prior to the passage of the state budget (approved
at the end of June), our office receives hundreds of E-mails and
letters, and we attempt to respond everyone. Unfortunately, this volume
of correspondence sometimes delays the response time that we normally
strive for.

This bill did pass the Senate on June 21, 2007; however, Senator Inverso
did not support the legislation.

Sincerely,
Dominic DeGregory
Chief of Staff

That makes 2 replies out of over 60 emails sent on June 7th

That's pathetic that only 2 of 60 NJ Senators responded to your letters about that issue! I guess they just don't care about their constituents enough, or some other bizarre reason, as to why virtually none of your letters to NJ Senators got responces(and I'm sorry to hear that).

It's pathetic enough that the NJ Senate passed this law, and that most are too sympathetic to anti groups in that state. And don't get me started on the road to hell that NJ has gone down on, against it's smokers....(w/the NJ smoking ban, the highest state cig taxes of any state in America, etc.)

It's probably the most corrupt state in the 'union'.

Their casinos and hotels in Atlantic City are in deep doo-doo.
They'll cave. Just be patient.

Hey Musician...are you the same person that used to be "Columbus Musician"? Did you move and become a wandering minstrel? Just wondering (and wandering) Laughing

I haven't been here for so long I forgot my screen name...
Yes.

And any musician has to be wandering minstrel now.
Nice work if you can get it.
