Diplomatic Duty Free Shops of New York
Summer 2007 Specials PDF
Here is a perfect example of an online shop operating in New York selling cigs in bulk.
10 cartons of Marlboros for $150 with free delivery inside NYC.
10 cartons of Wall Street for $55 with free delivery inside NYC. That $0.55 per pack!!!
THIS IS BULLSHIT. THE GOD DAMN POLITICIANS HAVE CUT DEALS FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR DIPLOMATIC FRIENDS.
If I'm a foreign government in need of cash I would open a duty free smoke and liquor shop right inside my embassy and encourage foreigners to come shop and visit.
No smoking ban applies to these embassies. Convert them to a smoking lounge and club and they can surpass their entire GNP just in NYC throwing some pimpin parties!!!
Lets go shop and club at the Somalia Embassy! |

Someone in NY has to go over there and buy 10 cartons.Let us know what happens.
We also have to test putting in an order from the internet. If anyone will do this, please post results.
If the common people can't use this,I and many others will see to it,that this story hits the major networks. |

| Well, who of us are going to test order from this site and report back? Call yourself a self proclaimed private diplomat. |

They talk about "competitive pricing"....Way more than competitive. I wish I was a "diplomat". |

| You have to have diplomatic papers/ID card in order to purchase from any duty free shop. Try to order online and you'll see. |

| All I would like to see is that someone made an attempt, in person, and was denied. If that happens, then this story of the year will hit the Networks! |

Linkup;
it's not exactly news. Try buying from any dutyfree shop at any airport. You get super-cheap deals on booze and cigs, but you can only buy there if you're on an international flight. So if you're flying to Europe you can also buy cigs for $15/carton.

The Locations of these Duty Free Shops are as follows:
866 2nd Ave Ste 201 Ny,Ny 10017
2000 P St NW Ste 603 Wash, DC 20036
Someone nearby should check out each location,I can't see how the public can be denied access to any location in the US.This is not an Airport, and if it is the US Embassy, they cannot deny access to a US Citizen.Or can they? If you are denied access,we, and you, can really expose these two faced Politicians for what they are!
If they can get away with selling cigarettes at those low prices to all US and foreign Diplomats who reside here and smoke-em here, they are violating the whole aspect of duty free.Any foreign diplomat smoking these cigarettes purchased from a US embassy may not smoke them outside his/her own foreign embassy on US territory, similarly, any US diplomat may not smoke these cigarettes on US territory, but only on foreign embassy grounds or Countries.IMO,of course. |
