WARNING:Government may be harmful to your health. Studies have shown it can cause loss of life and property, reduce civil liberties, inhibit your ability to excersize personal choice, and result in excessive taxation that is harmful to you and to those around you.
Secondhand taxes are very dangerous. They have been proven to increase the risk of bankruptcy and significantly affect quality of life.
Government regulation on tobacco products can be a "gateway", leading to harder regulation on other products and behavior. The Surgeon General recommends all choices you make regarding your health and your purchases be approved by the U.S. Government.

If the L.P would come out for Overturning Smoking Bans they would gain popularity and gain the entire smoking vote! Anything short of that is not enough for me!
If they do this, they will cause all the other candidates to think twice before they avoid the smoking ban questions. |

Americans desire fiscal responsibility, {social tolerance} and oppose the continued deaths of our soldiers in Iraq. Unfortunately, neither major party is willing to effectively address these important issues
Im sorry here for anyone that would go libertarian. those words social tolerance spark fear in me as meaning more queer freedom and more regulations on societys freedoms.ie.. smoking . think ill stick with the republicans at least the conservatives that dont tend to vote for anti-smoking laws...................besides what you guys need to do is start your own private speak easys or smoke easys and grow your own burley tobacco......... |

| Ah, I don't think you really understand the point of the Libertarian party. Most smokers support the Libertarian party because they are about LESS gov't control and regaulation over our daily lives. They vote in favor of smoker's rights WAY more often than any Republican. In fact, they support just about everyone's rights - they simply want to keep America free from excessive governmental control. |
