| I went to the Mahwah McDonalds this morning on my way to work, and I saw that the "smoking area" sign was covered with a "no smoking" sign. I was so sad when I saw this. I began to get angry. I almost yelled at the woman who served me. I'm glad I didn't, because she probably had nothing to do with the new policy. I'll try and write the owner a letter and ask him/her to reconsider this policy change. Now there's only one McDonalds around my area that I can go to. A McDonalds in Paterson, NJ is still smoking. The only problem with this one is when I sit there with my egg mcmuffin coffee, and a cigarette, people off the street usually see me smoking and bum a cig from me. Now I can feel the pain that people in Nazi states are feeling. It is begining to hit home again. I searched for smoker friendly restaurants for the last couple of years, and now it breaks my heart to see them go non smoking. I thought they were on my side, but now they went over to the Nazi side. This morning was my last trip to the Mahwah Mcdonalds, those traders! Did anyone else ever feel like this when a place that you thought loved smokers suddenly went smoke free? |

I've been to Paterson, NJ, but only to the strip clubs. I've been to the White Castle there a few times, but it was 4 am and I was wicked pissed so I have no idea if we were allowed to smoke or not, but we probably did anyway!
BOYCOTT McDonald's! If they don't let you smoke, don't eat there. Look for someplace else! |

| I've been to that White Castle. I'm sure you can smoke there, but I don't think they have a large seating area. I always go to the drive-thru when I go there. Everything's smoking in Paterson; it's like Atlantic City without the glammor. Unfortunate exceptions are Wendy's and Dunkin Donuts, because they have the national smoking bans. It's sad to think about, but I think we lost all hope of ever being able to smoke in those chains anywhere ever. I'm afraid McDonalds might be next to make such a ban, and I want to do everything I can to try and prevent this. |
