| Bali Red or McClintock Red are what come to my mind as being somewhat close. Try with Full Flavor Tubes (If you use tubes). |

What ever you try might take some getting used to ----- (took almost a half a pack for me ) RYO is mostly natural tobacco. The premades have quite a list of additives to enhance or make taste unique. (might take a trip to the hardware store to pick-up some bug spray and the other chemicals to match the taste )
After getting used to the natural tobacco you'll throw rocks at the premades.
Might want to try the sample packs until you find the right blend.

Lars74, I stick to the American Spirit Tobacco [Organic]- I used to smoke Winston's generics - Monarch's.
Biggest factor for me is the tubes - you have to find the tubes that you like.
They make a big difference in the draw and taste. Buy a few cartons of different brands to see what you like.
I ran out of MYO's yesterday and smoked Monarch's for most of the day - boy did I get a headache and felt like crap.
Get used to RYO and you will never go back to pre-mades.
It will take a while to ween yourself off the pre-made crap.

I smoke American spirit when I have to buy a can at the store. That is good, but it's not like Marlboro. You can make it like Marlboro by adding a small pinch of turkish. I also make my own from raw leaves from a certified organic farmer. He has a way of blending the leaves to tast exactly like Marlboro. Send me an e-mail, and I'll send you his information if anyone is interested. |

| I'd suggest you try Drum. It's actually nothing like Reds, but I think it's fantastic. |
