I have used ZigZag's and Gambler but like the Premier's the best - I think they have a better filter.
I smoke a light filter and the other two just ooze smoke on the perforations.
I bought some Vera Cruz awhile ago - to me they are yucky - taste like cardboard and glue - I have 4 cartons left - want them?
I wish El Rays made light filters - but according to my tobacco guys - they don't...bummer |

| There's a brand of tubes made in France I used to buy for a while that was pretty damned good, too, but I can't remember the name, unfortunately. |

I use the light tubes too. I think the zigzags were the worst for the smoke coming out the perferations. The stain on the fingers tell all. I tried gambler, but with crappy tobacco so I couldn't give it a fair chance. I've been going back and forth between elrey's and silvertips, both of them show some leakage. I may try something else on my next monthly order.
Gilster, D&R tobacco carries Elrey lights. To me, they are about the same as the Silver Tips. I may give Premier a shot on my next order. We all have different tastes, you never know. |

I stick to buying tubes and tobacco locally - brick-n-mortar stores
I'm extremely paranoid of internet taxes
Also buy every 'sin' item I buy in cash
I heard Gamblers and Zig Zags are made by the same outfit - the perforations do seem the same - love those yellow fingers too...NOT |

I was reading over there at syo.dalrun.com and you're not the only one who found the Vera Cruz tubes to taste like cardboard and glue but there's an update from and about the company somehwere on that forum. You probably could call the company directly and try to exchange their crappy tubes for good tubes. If they're a good company, they'll do it.
El Rey does make a light cigtube, try ryotobacco.com or rollyourown.com or something like that. |

| I prefer buying locally, too but if the pickin's are slim or stale then internet businesses are do-able, especially if they accept money orders or Western Union. These are as close to cash as one can get. |

I'm lucky to live in an area where we have tobacco outlet stores. Wide variety of tobacco's and tubes at reasonable prices. Cheaper than I've seen on line too.
I just use a plastic blue stuffer (Bugle) and it works great for me. Make cigs while I watch tv.
I use Gambler tubes and have no problem with them. I use the full flavor tubes though, as they are different than the light tubes.
Nice to meet fellow smokers here. |

Well, I received my 1 oz. samples from American Thrust and my vera cruz tubes from somewhere else but unfortunately I have a flu right now. Even my beloved coffee tastes icky, though the beer is tasting alright --go figure. |
