If 2nd hand smoke IS the same, as the smoke smokers inhale, prove it. Show me some other non-smokers who actually got lung cancer and empyshema from sites like news sites. Where are your "meaningless stats" at on non-smokers getting cancer from just inhaling 2nd hand smoke? I also know you never got lung cancer and empyshema from inhaling 2nd hand smoke for several years. Otherwise, you would've said so. If you don't have evidence to back this opinion up (or quotes from other people saying the same thing on 2nd hand smoke), then it's just that. An opinion (that I can crumble up and smoke), not an actual fact.
Non-smokers don't post on here (including the ones who are actually mature by respecting smokers) because they know this site doesn't fit their interests. If I posted on one of their (anti-smokers') boards, I'd be at the wrong place, and the antis would have every right to be angry at me. I'd be more welcome at a board with posters that have similar interests than me. Non-smokers not posting at the wrong place is the mature thing to do. You're doing more than just being a devil's advocate. You're still attacking the smokers who do post on here. Attacking people at the wrong place is not being devil's advocate. The only thing missing is the name-calling. Here's an attack right here.
>>>>>>oh, and as far as no one else coming to my rescue here,, god guys, as Y'all so eliquently reminded me so many times, This is a smokers board, most non-smokers have no desire to bpart of it or convince adults that smoking is bad, Yeah, I am playing the devils advocate,, Big deal.
and for that matter, I am also being constantly told how alone I am yet,, there are only about 4 who challenge me on here................. not exactly overwhelming numbrs guys.
I'm sure even people on here (or any other smoking board) would give you respect if you watch how you type if you're not looking at the keyboard. That's a quality of anti-smokers who post anywhere. They claim to be adults, but yet they type like kids.
"Not exactly overwheleming?" Hey, that punch didn't hurt me at all, since this attack is more like a crybaby attack. You're also under the impression that this is the only pro-smoking board on the internet, and these are the only 4 smokers on the net period. You need a wake-up call. If you took your arguments to the 50 different smoking boards on the internet (including one at smokingpermitted.com that I actually administrate), I bet several different pro-smokers would come out, since everyone only visits the smoking boards with topics they're interested in the most. Anyone who posts on 50 smoking boards a day for real needs a life off of the computer 24/7. That number doesn't even include the boards in hundreds of active Yahoo pro-smoking groups.
That number isn't meant to be sarcastic. That number sounds accurate to me, if I consider the online smoking community as a whole. I found the pro-smoking community 5 years ago, and over the years, I've seen smoking boards with different topics pop up, as well as different smoking sites where smoking fetishers can pay money just to view videos, pictures, and clips of women smoking.
Some of those board topics include those who like seeing smoking ladies, smokers who want to express their joy of smoking on a board not aimed at women, boards for smokers of particular brands, and a even a board for those who enjoy being heavy smokers. Those boards that focus on the dark side of smoking don't interest me at all, but (believe it or not) I've come across smokers on the internet who actually get "turned on" at the idea of having black lungs and getting empyshema. That's what I meant by smokers with an interest in the "dark side" of smoking. I'm not going to make anti-posts on those dark side boards, because each to his/her own.
As much as I like seeing women smoke myself, I'd rather spend 30 bucks on a carton per month than spend 30 bucks/month just to be a member of a pro-smoking site with pics.
I remember you said you got here from searching smoking rights sites. Well, those aren't the only pro-smoking sites and this isn't the only pro-smoking board. You would probably have a heart attack if you wanted to search other pro-smoking boards you can play "devil's advocate" at, and you would also notice there are a lot more than just 4 smokers (via the other pro-smoking boards) on the net. Some pro-smoking boards have a lot more than just even 5 regular posters. The funny part is I never seen a regular poster who's a non-smoker on them, outside of the non-smokers who have an interest in smoking women. |
