Hi all- new to this site, but gonna throw my 2 cents in! Here it goes- I can understand that non-smokers don't want to breathe in smoke because it causes cancer, or whatever. The carcinogens in cigarettes cause cancer, but what the non-smokers don't realize is they breathe in carcinogens every day- with out our smoke! Carcinogens are found in some kitty litters, most household cleaning products, and pesticides.....and much, much more.(For God's sake, there is formeldahyde in my barbicide jar at work). There is a high percent of children who get Lukemia from the pesticides being used in and outside their homes .And they want us "banned" from smoking in public places because WE are the ones who are going to cause the children and adults to have cancer, but they can get it from their own non-smoking homes? Well, maybe they should ban cleaning products in public places, too. But no- they have to descriminate against the smokers. This is getting rediculous....Seriously. Thanks for reading!! Welcome Squirpy. These banners are just starting to get around to food they feel is unhealthy. I'm sure they'll work their way up to cleaning products eventually. Funny thing is none of things meet OSHA's standards of what a hazard is.

Thanks for the info Torque! On that note- I feel if we want to eat trans-fats and get pleasantly plump- let us! It's no one elses choice what I put in my body. Im sure we have plenty of fat a$#*! in our government that enjoy the transfats, just as much as we do!! Anyhow, thank you for replying!

Hey no sweat! Where are you from anyway?

I'm from the St. Paul/Minneapolis area which is nowadays known as "The Twin Shitties." Cruise through some of the old threads here 'cause there's lots of good info...and Darkseid's and JeepGod's pics of Hillary Clinton are pretty funny.

Look at the Halloween thread on page 2 or 3 of the "Smoker's Rights" board.

Anyway, I'll be back later with some pics of the chain-smoking fat [freak] who desperately wants a smoking ban in Minnesota.

Oddly enough, one of the anti-smoking organizations has a decrepency of 40+ grand that they can't atone for.

Hmmmm...wonder where that went?

Rolling Eyes I hope they remove all of their lush carpeting, those clothes and faux fur coats loaded with carcinogens and stop driving their gas guzzling vehicles, stop using plactic wrap etc...Stop flying, go back to horses and buggies, oops can't do that, horses fart and cause greenhouse gas emissions. Remove all their cleaning products, shampoos, soaps, colognes and perfumes they love to wear and before long you will Smell them coming. Did anybody forget the nuclear/chemical/biological tests about 50 years ago? That's still in the ground, air and water as well and 1000 years has not passed yet.

Go to Yahoo Questions and Answers and Post that bit of news there too! Another website for the Politically correct is H.E.A.L the Human Action Ecology League, they will tell them the same identical thing with Scientific data that is legitimate. Or how about those allergies? Allergies are an indicator that the immune system isn't working too well and will also lead to cancer! Ask the people of Saginaw Michigan about their Dow Chemical Plant experiences too.
