Of course this is when anti's will say: "You can't blame this on the smoking ban. There could be any number of factors contributing to this."
Uh-huh. Just like they can name so many of the hundreds of thousands of people who have died of SHS over the years.
About this time they'll hit you with the immortal comment, "This shouldn't be putting smokers and non-smokers against each other."
Of course when you do prove that business has been affected negatively, they'll say, "This is a health issue." |

Maybe one day (soon) there will be Smoker's resorts as there have been nudist resorts for decades....both classes being the societal stepchildren that they are.....along with lepers and such other segregated classes.
Or perhaps if the greenhouse gas emission forecasts are correct (and I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it to develop ...pun intended) it could turn out that only smokers have adapted well enough to the higher levels of CO2 to survive and being the only survivors....will inherit the earth....and can then ban all nonsmokers should any reappear.
....and btw....when the announcement comes sometime that the long anticipated earth shattering asteroid will strike next week....won't we smokers have a big horse laugh at all those that quit or refrained from smoking in order to live longer.... 
In the meantime...thank-you for holding your breath while I smoke. |
