Well, for now there are still smoking sections in most restaurants. The ones that ban smoking that I know of are: Any fast food establishment (BK, Taco Bell), a very good Chinese restaurant Trey Yuen, and Semolina's (a pasta type restaurant of which I do not like anyways). LOL, I messed with their heads at Trey Yuen...... called to reserve a large table for about 50 people then asked if they allowed smoking, they said no, I said "nevermind, cancel my reservation, we'll go elsewhere".

Every other restaurant has a smoking/non-smoking section.

Speaking of which, I suppose I will vote for the least evil person in the upcoming governors race. There is one guy who was in charge of the Dept. of Healh (he's not getting my vote regardless of any other issues b/c he wants to raise the cig. tax by $1/per pack). The former legislative auditor sounds like he's a prospect b/c he doesn't want to mess with cig. taxes. Some other fool (a Democrat, I believe) wants to mess with cig. taxes, so he's not getting my vote. All want to allow cities to decide themselves whether to ban smoking or not. As it stands now, no city can make a law that bans smoking. It supercedes the state legislation which says it's up to the business owner.

Hey, I sure as hell wouldn't vote to re-elect Bloomberg. Obviously smokers would have more of a voice if we got out and voted against these non-smoking candidates.

Perhaps we should compile a list of all legislators which supported and opposed smoking bans - that way we could make it easier to suggest who to vote for.
