Torquemeda,
The Kids won't know any better, for them the restrictions will be what they were born into and they won't miss freedoms they never enjoyed.
For the oldsters, we can see them chipping away at our liberties with that old foot in the door routine.
I can remember a time when there was no such thing as DUI, only Drunk Driving, if you were busted for Drunk Driving it wasn't because you had a couple of Beers and blew a .08.
Usually Drunk Drivers were driving due to being too drunk to walk and were a clear danger on the road, if you were arrested for drunk driving back then you deserved it.
It clearly takes away from our quality of life when if you go out to dinner and have a drink you need to concern yourself if the level of alcohol in your breath exceeds some metric value suggesting a point where your reflexes are slowed by another metric figure- LOL- what has big brother done to our lives.
Marijuana restrictions have always been a waste of resources, how can you continue to outlaw something that at least two of our presidents have admitted to using, whether they inhaled or not- give it up and package it and sell it in liquor stores legally, triple the savings: no longer wasting the money on the court system, collecting taxes on it and creating a new cash crop, while putting illegal drug dealers out of business.
Which way is Czechoslovakia, it may be the answer to our plight here. |

One more thing JRS999,
Kindly do the decent American thing and give your fellow Americans the respect they deserve.
Please change that awful, in our face Avator, how rude to sign in to a Pro Smoking site with a NO SMOKING Avator, why would you deliberately disrespect us?
Would you help a neighbor when he is down or go kick dirt in his face, laugh at him and call him clumsy.
If you were in pre-war Germany you would have made a wonderful cheerleader for Hitler. |

Know what this makes me think of?
The Kids won't know any better, for them the restrictions will be what they were born into and they won't miss freedoms they never enjoyed.
Makes me think of that old 70's movie "Logan's Run", where it's a paradise, until you turn 21 or 30, then they put you to death.
Which way is Czechoslovakia, it may be the answer to our plight here.
Hopefully it's as far away from England as it can get.
Although, it probably won't be long before this fad works it's way over there. |

Here you are preaching to me about how I should live my life and what avatars I should have. If I didn't know better, I'd say you were a so-called smoke nazi in disguise. Are you?
How rude of you to think you can:
1. Light up where you want, and;
2. Alter (or post here an altered version of) a copyrighted cartoon figure to make it appear as if he's smoking.
LOONEY TUNES, and all related characters and elements are trademarks of and © Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. 2003.
Can I get a picture of you so that I can put it into Microsoft Picture It!, alter it to my liking, then post it on here, a public forum? Yeah, I didn't think so.
This is the deal. You have one week to alter your avatar to remove the cigarette from Yosemite Sam's mouth or I'm contacting the legal department at Warner Brothers, citing you and this web site.
How does that sound, Joe?
Typical of smokers who think they can do what they want whenever they want. |

No need to worry. JRS just got elected captain of his pompom squad and now believes he's going to take over the world. |

His threats don't intimidate anyone here. A couple of months ago, he said his "think tank" wanted to go to work on me. I never went to "lock and load" mode and am still here.
He's just an unstable adult with a juvenile mind and delusions of grandeur. Really just a petty, wannabe tyrant. |

A total Ass, maybe I should sign up to carpool with this jackass so I can throw him out of the vehicle in the fast lane and put him out of his misery.
I am calling for a complete boycott of replying to him! |

The dude is the most pathetic example of an ex-smoker, hanging around this website in hopes of getting a whiff of some second hand smoke.
Worse than any Bitch ever on the rag or in menopause for that matter, he is suffering from severe smoke withdrawal.
Why the hell would you give up something that you love doing so dearly at the advice of some pompous SOB that will likely leave this earth early at the hands of a cement mixer accident?
Outrageous cost? Hell, I started making my own over a year and a half ago, cost $12 a pound and a dollar a carton for tubes.
Greedy state ain't making shit from that, its like bend over you arrogant bastards, now you get nothing from me.
Funny thing, Phillip Morris calls me on the phone a couple months ago asking for my support to lobby against Cigarette tax increases.
I say "way too late now", let em raise it all they want, only justifies me doing what I am all the more and I can laugh all the harder as the state tries to balance their budget with that Cigarette tax Goose they killed gone.
Meanwhile I am still puffing away at about 50 cents a pack.
The only offers I still take are for free packs from Pall Mall, cost 20 some cents for tax but still cheaper than I can make my own, they taste a little like shit though, maybe not that bad but I prefer my home made brand which taste like Marlboro Lights which was my brand of choice when I was buying them. |
