| You never called your parents' names and they smoked? Guess what? I never called my mother names even when I was a little boy. Nobody on here is our mother or father. And your point with you never calling your parents names? |

Hey Jay
The parent satetment . Only thing I can tell you is follow the thread of the message. But for YOU, I will make the readers Digest summary.
1. I have metioned the namecalling thing.
2. I have also said no reason for it.
2. Stated that my parents smoked.
4. In fairness, I vocalized that I wished they did NOt smoked
5. Never called them names JUST because they smoked.
Thats all
I hope that clarified it for you.
I am seeing now that when I mention the name calling, it tends to irritate you and a few others, THAT is NOT my intent. Just trying to say that you guys can debate things with me without resorting to calling me a childish name.
Thanks |

No need for the thread summary. I read all of the posts before I even wrote those posts. Thank you, and no need to play the role of my father. I'm actually glad you ain't my father to begin with.
If you want respect on a pro-smoking board (which is obviously a board that doesn't fit your interests), then you need to EARN respect on a "you're at the wrong place" type of board. Why do you think I shouldn't be whining for respect if anti-smokers called me names for me posting on their anti-smoking board?
You ain't gonna earn respect (from me at least) by:
-Making a lot of typos at times in your posts
-Saying in another post overeating actually has health benefits (overeating is not beneficial), so according to you, it doesn't fit in an analogy with smoking
-Insisting smoking is not a right. If smoking isn't a right, then you don't have the right to complain about it. Smoking IS a right, and you DO have the right to complain about it
-Imply you're providing something beneficial in your posts. The only beneficial thing you're providing is some posts that I can debate with successfully, since you brought life back to this board |

Making a lot of typos at times in your posts
Ah, I was wondering HOW long it would take someone to concern themselves with the old typo arguement. Bottom of the barrel tactic when no else relevent. But, I will make a more concerted effort to run through spellchecker for the Publishers out there.
-Saying in another post overeating actually has health benefits (overeating is not beneficial), so according to you, it doesn't fit in an analogy with smoking
Please show me verbatim where I said Overeating was benificial. That is totally an UNtrue statement. Here is the actaual verbage: As far as overeating............... well, I wont get into it simply because I will never compare eating food ( a nature biological NEED) to smoking ( NOT a Biological requirement) , its like comparing apples to ciggarette butts.. LOL,, there IS no analogy. As you can PLAINLY see, I NEVER said OVEReating was benificial. Whiile I may fat finger some words on here, I really dont attempt to say something TOTALLY UNTRUE.
-Insisting smoking is not a right. If smoking isn't a right, then you don't have the right to complain about it. Smoking IS a right, and you DO have the right to complain about it
Nope, WRONG.. My right to freedom of speech is NOT dependant upon your belief system
-Imply you're providing something beneficial in your posts. The only beneficial thing you're providing is some posts that I can debate with successfully, since you brought life back to this board
And yes, i DID say that. I agree,, posts looked kind of dead for a while here. Happy to help you out. |

| Killing people has always been around for ages, but it's not comparable to smoking, drinking, drugs, or even HIV. Smoking is still the least worriable thing to worry about on this list. That "same mentality" you have sounds like an excuse of your own. |

| BTW, freedom of speech dates back to the consitutional days, and I know you ain't 227 years old. So try picking another actual "right" you fought for. If there's anyone fighting for the freedom of speech, it's you on this board. |

you can stick to defending your "Hobby" Privledge
By posting here and seeing the vehemently misleading responses, I KNOW I am practicing my RIGHT to Freedom of Speech. Thanks for helping out. |

| You ain't the only one "practicing your right to freedom of speech" MF'er. I am TOO, dumba--. Too bad this isn't a literal board, because I'd practice "expressing" my right to freedom of speech as well in front of that punky mind of yours. |

Jay, there is NO reason to get banged out of shape over a discussion. Lets face it, this tired old baord NEEDS men like me instead of the tired old crap. I have pumped more life in this forum than youve pumped nicotine in your lungs.........and THATS considerable.
Have a smoke guy.. you NEED it. |

And the "weird" part is (If you HAVE pumped life into this board) I don't see not a single soul agreeing with your posts. As far as I'm concerned, that's like 10 men against 1 whimpy man. Until you get support for your posts (from other posters), you can keep on dreaming if you think you're pumping life into this board. The only thing you doing is making people on your side look like second graders more often. Instead of admitting defeat in the debates, you're now resorting against your own advice. With INDIRECT name calling. And you think smokers are dumb? If smokers are dumb, you're just about as smart as a baby with a milk bottle. How the heck is indirectly attacking me going to make you look better? It's going to make you look worse...a LOT worse...fool.
Well, indirectly attacking me isn't going to work, because believe me, I'd love to return the favor (return the favor literally) of you attacking someone who kept making you look bad in the debates. I bet your heart could use some big pumps. |
