| I noticed we are now getting a lot of visitors coming to this site to talk about another way to fight unfair taxation on tobacco - RYO. So I figured I better make a new forum for you all! |

I always roll my own. I much prefer roll-ups to ready-rolled cigarettes. The smoke seems milder, somehow - perhaps because the tobacco is slightly damp. If the tobacco dries, roll-up smoke is very hot.
Also, unlike ordinary cigarettes, roll-ups go out if they're not smoked. |

Update,
Grabbed a 6 oz container of McClintock menthol and a box of full flavor McClintock tubes over the weekend.
Found the menthol to be very strong and the tubes had a few defects in a few of them about 6 or so !
Will consider mixing some regular tobacco to lighten the menthol.
Still looking for a steady mix for a mellow menthol smoke, kinda like a Marlboro Mild.
Any buddy have a good tobacco tube combo like Marlboro Mild?

I'd just try using a light tube. Maybe something like the zig zag light tube would be great. |

| Zig Zags are good tubes, but almost any light or even a 20-23 mm filter FF will do. Marlboros are a burley blend, so cut the McMenthol, starting at 50-50 w/ an american blend, this will have burley in it. This will be a good start, remember though, you get what you pay for so try to buy a decent american blend, there are quite a few. This will only approximate the strength, youll have to tinker, Ive found that its almost impossible to duplicate exactly, however I think the SYOs taste even better than premades. By the way, McMenthol is really good tobacco to start with. |
