Hey Nazi,
You just admitted that Americans aren't smart enough to make their own decisions. Did you ever follow how drinking and driving laws get spread? Well I did. You get a few Nazi groups, MADD, to name one, who lobby to he federal government. The federal government once passing a law, gradually forces the states to obey the law by threatening to take away their highway funds if they don't comply. That's saying that the states aren't smart enough to make their own laws, and the people definately can't be trusted to be responsible adults. That surely doesn't sound like freedom. I thought freedom was making your own decisions as an adult. |

No, I did NOT admit or say that Americans arent smart enough to make thier own decisions.
Yes, I am sure the MADD organization lobbied the federal government, you will hear no arguement from me on that. On the other hand, the tobacco lobbyists are doing the same thing. I dont get mad over that, its just the way THEY get things done to suit THEM.
On another note, whilst I am DEFINITELY of the Jeffersonian mindset, I have to readily admit that some adult simply dont make the best descisions, THAT is why laws are on the books.
Again, try and leave the vehement name calling alone, I am affording YOU the respect you want, do the same for me.

I have no desire to be your enemy or your friend. I have no desire to ban yourt ciggs ( if you would really READ, you would see that), I saw this board a a FORUM......... look THAT one up.. but obviously, you need to rename it. I am NOT using any "tactics". nor am I a Nazi, a Cretin or a Health Police....... I was simply giving another side, POLITELY... When TOM specifically decribed about the LOWES issue,, he clarified it for me, I responded with a Thank you............ Trust me, I am VERY sure you are NOT used to someone being a gentleman and polite to you, but I am this way normally.......... My Momma would be proud.
I am NOT perfect, but I know when to listen, when to speak, and when to fight. You dont know me, and honestly, you could call me names all day long, and the ONLY thing you would do is provide me with a SMALL amount of entertainment. I am sure if I called you names, it would be the same result. Just is not worth it.
I honestly dont know what the happy medium is for smokers & nonsmokers, I really dont. I DO know that its NOT the name calling deal.
