Is is the reason they are sent registered from CIGMALL.

We send our cigarettes by registered mail (because we want to be sure
that your cigarettes were not lost or stolen on their way to you) and you should sign for them at arriving.

That is an e-mail I got.

I do have a Supermatic. I use it to suppliment my smoking. I still haven't found the right combination of tubes and tobbacco though. And their a little fatter than premades, which I'm not sure I like. Besides it's hard to find the time or desire to make more than 2 packs at a time.

That's the truth, still, if you bought by the pack, it's more convenient to stuff a couple packs than it is to run out to a convenience store.
None of that BS of timing your orders so that some arrive in the mail and figuring in the postal holidays, weekends, etc. before you run out when you have a bag or can of tobacco and some tubes sitting around.

That's about all I find I have the ambition to do is a couple packs at a time so I try to do a couple more before using what I already made in order to accumulate a reserve.

Try to think of the arrogance of the politicians voting to raise taxes on your smokes while patting one another on the butt and telling themselves "the suckers will pay it", perhaps that thought will serve as incentive.

They have just crossed the line for me and if they think going after online sales will be their salvation they need to rethink that, I will smoke my **)&(&!! grass and leaves first!

I will NOT be abused this way Damn it!

Oh, it burns my butt, too. I refuse to sit around and be taken advantage of with the taxes. They need to be nipped in the money bag and they need to get real! Enough is enough! The discrimination of it all, the comments, the self-righteousness that has become unbearable with the antis' attitudes. All of this "banning" is creating monsters on this issue. I am not going to sit back and let them try to reform and walk all over me with their "way." In my opinion, their "way" can just go and hit the highway!

I hate that word "BAN," too. This is the beginning of taking away rights in this country and they just don't get it ... yet, they say we don't get it! Whatever happened to adult compromise and capitalizing on this issue by having smoking and non-smoking establishments. Leave it to the owners of the establishments and our choice of where we want to go. They bring up litter issues ... well, why in hell did you take away the ash trays so we have nowhere to throw them away but on the ground or in a trash bin that can start on fire? Stupid is, I suppose. I don't see people looking ahead for what will come from all of this at all. These same tactics will come into play again with some other group on some other issue, like (example) overeaters. They would have to enforce scale police! Ridiculous, just ridiculous!

MYO is the way to go. As for the time it takes to make cigs, well, I keep thinking that the money I'm saving is a reward for a little work. Think about it, if we end up completely not being able to buy online then we're back at the local store paying $5+ a pack (and it keeps rising). Wouldn't you rather pay a buck a pack or less? MYO really does go fast, if you sit and focus for an hour or so at a time. I think I can make about 10-12 packs in an hour, and I'm a beginner. I've only had my machine for a week!

The tubes can be a little tricky, too, and I agree that they are fatter than the premades. To top it off, the premade brand I smoked were slims, so they were even thinner. I just bought Premier, Zig Zag and Zen tubes. The Zen tubes seem to have a nice flat seam, whereas the other two aren't as flat and stick up in places. Does anyone know if there is a place to buy a slimmer-type tube? And if there is, is there a piece that would fit over the injector end of the cigarette machine for a thinner tube to be used? I have the Premier machine. Also, I think in time I will get accustomed to the larger tube. It's hard to switch brands and tube sizes, though, I know. It's really just a matter of getting used to it. Eventually, you will find the right tube and tobacco.

No additives, no preservatives--just tobacco-- is another good reason to MYO!

I just started with the MYO a couple days ago, using Zig Zag papers and a Zig Zag Precision Pro stuffer. I may move to Michigan in the near future, and will plan to continue the MYO route. From what I have read, the Premier Supermatic must be the machine to get, so I have one of those on order. As far as making the smokes, I do get some enjoyment out of that as well. Any hobby that saves money is worth the time, in my opinion.

In as far as taxes are concerned. I would purchase smokes in Michigan, with the understanding that the state needs revenue to fund many of its programs. They can't get funding from additional taxes, because everybody else feels that they pay too much. We end up shouldering the burdon. If I purchase smokes in Michigan (when I go and visit) I intend to make a statement that I am supporting people in that state, especially when it comes to dealing with their medical system. States like Michigan need to pay more heed to where their money comes from, and smokers should DEMAND respect for what they contribute to the state remaining solvent. Ban tobacco, and see just how much the state and its services can "benefit" from it. We are becomming an "ownership society" according to President Bush. Perhaps we should all make a statement in regards to our ownership of New Jersey, New York, and other places that are similar. Let's hold them accountable for where our money goes!

just recieived this message from cigmall.net

Thank you for letting us know. We've investigated this on our part and
found that several cases containing our parcels were seized. These
were the cigarettes ordered in the period of 8-14 March. Orders placed
after this date were received successful. We would like to remark that
there is a difference between importing cigarettes for personal use
and commercial use. Cigarettes purchased for personal use are not
subjected to the Imported Cigarettes Compliance Act of 2000. This is
some kind of unfair war of the BIG BROTHER with cigarettes retailers.
We can reship your order and would like at first to ask if you would
like us to. Otherwise we'll issue a full refund for the seized
cigarettes. We strongly believe that if we reship your order it
wouldn't be seized by US customs. Please let me know how should we
act. Thank you and sorry for all these inconveniences caused.

If you have some more questions please feel free to contact us.
Have a great day!

Hi
I just orderd via cigmall and live in MN. Hope they come! I was a part of the JFK thing and have not gotten much in refundage. What a bummer, especially when there are 2 smokers. Do they come by fed ex or UPS or how?

They come by USPS and you have to sign for them.
