We have a new advertiser - Nicotine Wafer, please click on the banner ad to check it out. It's not a smoking cessation product - it's a nicotine supplement for smokers in smoke-free places (such as airplanes, etc.). If you have to, I guess you can try it in NYC bars also (for now ...)!

Call it whatever you like, smokers are going to lose! From The Star Ledger:"The New York law has value because it reflects a concern for the employees' health," said Glazier, whose New York establishments includes Michael Jordan's The Steak House. "There's no doubt that in New York I've lost the type of customer who wants to come in and smoke three or four cigarettes and have a drink, but I've also gained customers. Seventy-five to 80 percent of the world is nonsmoking, and it was difficult for them to come into a smoky bar."

The fact of the matter is the new law is driving away customers. Read the other articles we've posted, all the bar and restaurant owners are complaining. Nobody wins when the gov't tries to legislate against personal liberty.
