I actually forgot the password to edit the home page I am waiting to recover it Thanks for the laugh, Carlos. It's always good to find out that other people suffer from human foibles such as losing their password.
I've found it helps to develop a code system so that when (not if) you forget a password, you can use your code system to figure it out.
The person we mainly lock out with all our efforts at maximum security is -- ourselves!!! |

Yeah! I finally figured out how to approve comments on the home page articles - there are actually hundreds of new ones! I'm not sure why - I think it would be easier to follow if everyone just posted in the forum.
So the only question is, should I delete the home page article, or leave it up since there are a bunch of comments on it? |

From what I could see on the two articles that I read (the first two), the comments were pretty old (except mine, )
If you could put them into a link file of some kind, it would be better (like an archive?), and then start over . |

Yes, it's been a while that they've been up there and I finally figured out how to approve them!
There's actually a whole bunch of articles on the site, as you can see by the sitemap: http://www.smokinglobby.com/sitemap/ and all the new comments are interspersed throughout these hundred or so articles. It's like there is a whole second forum going on, with people commenting back and forth onthese articles. It's pretty confusing!
It seems the only way to move an article to the archive is to publish new ones. I did it once on the home page, when I first started. If you've got any other article ideas, let me know and I can post them and then the older ones get pushed down into the archive. |
