KC: Globalink is a network of some 6,000 antismoking experts/organisations across the world mainly formed of discussion lists broken down according to language, countries, regions of the world, sub-regions, topics (general, ETS, harm reduction, etc.).
When a public health officer in, let's say Ukraine or Kuala-Lumpur, wishes to implement a ban on smoking, he posts a message in Globalink to request help for providing the "scientific basis" (from their jargon) to her/his Ministry of Health.
He generally receives quick and documented responses (e.g. from US or European counterparts) on how to proceed.

Great Interview with expert tobacco researcher Dr Kamal Chaouachi by Chris Snowdon ! Author of Velvet Glove Iron Fist: A History of Anti-Smoking.
I think we need to shine the light on these little cockroaches hiding in the dark.
GLOBALink.
I've heard it said cockroaches hate the light.

Quote: Heck, we need to get as organized as they are...
Heck, that is not only true but it is the only way We could possibly slow down the negative impact of the bans in this declared war on smokers.
The nico nazi movement along the the health nazi movement is the result of a global social and behavioral engineering project of the UN through it's health department, the WHO.
There are other players, such as the Pharmaceutical industry, ( which of course have a very close relationship with the WHO) , professional "good doers", health "fanatics", profiteers, "well meaning zealots", hypochondriacs, "saviors of mankind", busy bodies, so called charities and foundations,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and the long list goes on but the root of the problem is the UN and the WHO in it's present form. The UN is in fact have an agenda: a one world government.
Remember; it was the WHO which openly declared a no smoker need to apply policy many years ago to kick start the the push for the acceptance of a group of people(smokers this time) to be allowed to discriminate against, promote intolerance and even a low level of hate ( for now) toward on not only on a global level but to "deal" with those who stand in the way.
The 21.st century nazis will not be stopped or even slowed down without organized effort from groups opposing them.
It is time for a policy to de normalize the concept that the UN and it's organizations pose no threat to national sovereignty, personal freedom and security and must be used as "the voice" of the international community.

Some clarification for my previous post.
Tobacco control and the bans is not trying to go global, it has been globally promoted through an UN agency, the WHO for some time now.
The WHO policy to EXCLUDE people who are using a legal product opened up the door for discrimination against lifestyle choices using health as an excuse to set a precedent on the international level to be allowed to single out a group of people against whom discrimination and intolerance can be and preferably will be used.
The WHO also the founder of an international tobacco control agenda to eliminate the use of tobacco by pressuring countries into signing a pledge to do so.
A test project for global social and behavioral engineering to by pass human rights issues.
Granted, the UN and WHO is being used for this purpose but those who are under the delusion that the issue of tobacco taxes and bans can be successfully opposed on a local level for long while the UN and the WHO remains in it's present form is only kidding them self.
The UN today is a sort of Frankenstein scenario because this created monster CAN take over.
Understand that many people are not comfortable with the concept of throwing the baby out with the bathwater but this huge unelected group of bureaucrats already dictating many local issues and although there are many positives, the negative is becoming ever more appear ant.
As it stands, taxpayers around the globe funding this ever growing unelected bureaucracy which is of course keep looking for more funding.
Elected politicians at least can be voted out in some countries by locals but keep granting more power and money to the UN in its present form will soon make even that option irrelevant unless politicians starting to get the message that there are a lot of concerns about the UN in its present form.

This is the link to the WHO sponsored treaty I was talking about.
This treaty can, does and will over ride elected representatives ability and power.
Note; that the people implementing the policies are not facing elections from the public.
