I found both these articles tonight. One article is from the Las Vegas Review-Journal showing how much casino smoking bans have hurt business in Colorado and Illinois casinos, and the second article shows how Nacogdoches'(TX) smoking ban(and among the strictest bans in effect in Texas, even banning smoking on outdoor patios) has hurt businesses in the year since it took effect. I don't blame bar patrons one bit for flocking outside of Nacogdoches to bars and other businesses outside of city limits, neither do I casino patrons who no longer attend casinos in either Illinois or Colorado(and as an Illinois native, I'll never return to any Illinois casinos as long as the state ban is in effect). Enjoy:
