Quote: DEEP DOWN inside they want to
And I am trying like heck to figure out a way to post on the ACS, RWJF, Pfizer, and smokefree-________ web sites to give them my heartfelt support in starting smoking and enjoying it's many pleasures and benefits because DEEP DOWN inside...I know they want to...

If you read well.. that goes for some of you old cats.. put them reading glasses on and read carefully, that this is how I helped my mom. Yes she really wanted to quit and tried many ways..and yeah she was a very very happy smoker too, but her health wented let her be like she wanted to be, so I bought this for her and helped her.
And that's a good thing then.
fireblane wrote: Many people are out there thinking the same way you guys are thinking but DEEP DOWN inside they want to quit there habbit. SO think before u try to Flame my thread PLZ!
No, YOU think...........this IS a Smokers' Rights forum. Maybe you should have read through (notice the word is through not though which has a different meaning) the various threads before posting your "help". Trust me, anyone REALLY wanting to quit will NOT be here. Besides which, we get all the "HELP" we never asked for as we are bombarded on a daily basis from all forms of media, and busy-body anti's posting on smokers' rights forums. And I may be wrong, but it seems to me that only GOD would have such definitive knowledge of what anyone on earth really wants deep within their core being. And the word is habit, not habbit. *wondering how you managed to graduate if you can't spell simple words*
fireblane wrote: PLZ NO more FLAMES... gosh you people talk like this FORUM is your God or HOME where u actually live.. (who knows maybe it is)
You know what they say.............if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. IF you post on a public forum you must be prepared to accept all comments sent your way. You don't have to like them, you just have to accept that not everyone will agree with you and some will be downright pissed. It's part of life and living. No one has the right to never feel offended or hurt.
fireblane wrote: Plz No more flamin my thread.. this is actually for helpin.
Then post this crap where it will be appreciated. Like some non-smokers rights group. Any smoker on this list already knows where and how to get any real help they may want. Hell just look at the damned ads on the sidebar that we can't stop! I don't recall anyone flaming your thread.............we just don't agree with it OR appreciate it.
fireblane wrote: And for the old ass woman (lynda) that thinks this forum is her "HOUSE", who needs to get out and get a life and stay away from her PC, that is so old that she don't know what "slang" is(those), (thats one proper ass old lady ya dig?), thinks I dont know what a troll is..... UMM a troll is a imaginary monster.... I was asking why do u call me a troll because I dont understand how it relates here......Its like calling someone a NOOB?
OH WOW, boo hoo, you called me a name, you call your mother an old ass woman? I'd love to see you do that to my face boy, or do it to your commanding officer. Let me go and crawl away and lick my wounds...boo hoo! Now listen up you snot-nosed little twerp.....now THAT's a flame dear. You obviously have no clue about analogies. I used the "house" scenario as an analogy (look it up). Many forum members, on all forums actually, use the same analogy, especially when they are forums where you have to register to belong. Like a private club. So yes, we do think of it as our home, and each new member is an invited guest. What most don't appreciate, are new invited guests walking in and immediately preaching their personal beliefs under the guise of "help" knowing that their personal religion is in opposition to the ambiance of the group.
Ain't is slang............im isn't (it is simply laziness or ignorance on the part of the typist). The internet has really destroyed basic grammar and writing skills. Acronyms are the worst in my book. And while I'm not an English major, yes I am a [w]itch when it comes to basic simple spelling and grammar. However, my use of the word troll IS slang (now who doesn't know) and a quick google of "internet troll" would have pulled up 559,000 results. From Wikipedia: An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response[1] or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.[2]

Being as I work on a computer all day long, getting away from it is a bit difficult, and coming to these forums are great mental breaks for me. Since my company doesn't mind as long as my job is done, I think I'll just stick around thank you very much.
I do believe I will now take the advice I usually give out to others who respond to trolls and make this my last to you. Say what you want little boy, you are now going to be ignored. Just remember, everything you put out WILL come back to you three-fold.[/i] |

Fireblane,
I just don't get this post. You posted on a forum that endorses smoking with an anti-smoking post and are surprised that most people disagreed with you? Come on, man. Seriously.
I love people who do this, I really do. Do you know why? It's because it reassures me that people like this exist in the world and that makes me happy. After all, someone has to cut my grass/wash my windshield.
Why don't you just save the energy you would spend typing some response and head outside--as a 13 year old troll, you probably spend most of your time inside. Don't even try to tell me you're above the age of 15. Anyone with even an ounce of maturity would know that this kind of thing stops being amusing once you turn 15.
Anyway, if you do decide to go into the Navy once you turn 18, I really hope you have matured some. We can't have people like you degrading the image of the American serviceman. But hey, if they throw you out of basic training, I'll keep an eye out for you--I've got this bug that's really caked onto my car.
